Having travelled to VB for many years from the UK this was a great find. We got a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Quaint cafe, food was fantastic & staff were very attentive. Wife was disappointed the shop has closed, although I was quietly relived..!

Ate dinner here with a friend while visiting from out of town. Wonderful atmosphere, great cocktails and amazing food! Had the shrimp and clam risotto- delicious! Afterward, the chef gave us a tour of the gardens out back. Love the fresh, healthy ingredients. Will definitely visit this place again on my next visit!

Always a little nervous about returning to a restaurant where I've had a great meal for fear they will fall short. Leaping Lizard proved to be up for the challenge. I had Blue Nose Tile (which I had never heard of), pan seared with a vegetable medley below and a pureed sweet potato on the side. Fish was perfect, two... More

Quaint, unusual wooden building with inside and outdoor seating. The umbrellas provide shade outside. Friendly, prompt service. The portions are decent, not oversized like most restaurants. The salads are cut with finesse; slivers of tomato rather than bricks. The cocktails are served in mason jars with a fine slice of fruit to garnish. We had the trout, the quinoa salad... More

We decided to give this place a try. We had lunch there and had a good meal. Standouts were the chicken salad and the fresh fruit.. The chicken salad was very tasty with large pieces of chicken and the cantaloupe was some of the best I have ever tasted. The egg salad was okay. I felt it needed some seasoning,... More

We were visiting Virginia Beach and my husband suggested we visit this place because we had seen it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. While the food was delicious, service left a lot to be desired. We ate there around 11am on Sunday, so the brunch crowd was in full swing. Fortunately, we got seated almost immediately, but from then, everything... More

Excellent dinner and very reasonably priced. Restaurant menu changes frequently (daily?) relevant to fresh catch of the day and available produce. We had a table for 10 and all seemed very satisfied with their meals. Service was excellent and server went out of her way to be helpful and suggested some great items. If you are a "buffet all you... More

I so enjoyed sitting out on the porch on a beautiful Sunday morning and enjoying brunch. I had the cantaloupe gazpacho, and it was refreshing on a warm day. On a previous visit I had the Mahi-mahi, which was delicious. Go early and be prepared to wait. This place is very popular!

I will keep this short ans sweet. All the hot food was cold and the sandwiches were nothing special. After watching Diners Drive Ins and Dives and talking to local friends, I was expecting much more than I got. Would not go back.
