My wife had heard about Asahi through her Asian connections and wanted to try it. What a great place! Food is super authentic Korean ran by a extremely nice family. Ask for anything that is a family recipe. Their hot sauce is freaking amazing.

This is a great Resturant. I'm part Taiwanese and somewhat a foodie and eat very clean (gmo free, etc) The food: - is fresh tasting - all dishes are on point for texture - the flavors are above a rating scale The service: - I have never been some where where the waitress care so much for you without being on-top... Having been to Korea, I'm somewhat familiar with Korean food. The dishes that my friend and I had were very good. As another reviewer said, the portions were not large, I would have liked it to be a bit bigger, but that being said, I will definitely go back.

They bow, they smile, they turn up the heat, they veganize all their hot pots and noodle dishes with seasoned tofu and veggies; their complimentary side plates are delicious, their organic barley tea, they have chilled leechee saki, what more can you ask for! They need to put vegan offerings on the menu rather than have to ask for them,... More

Was more of a 4+ but I didn't want to mess up their average. Was a great night. Decent prices, great meal, not *especially* large portions. Service was fantastic; server want to guide us through the menu. I ordered bi bam bop, which was great. My wife got kimchee and fried rice and loved it. We'll be back.

My wife and I ate at Asahi's this week (19 Mar 2014) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is nice, it has an oriental feel, but they were playing american music. The tables were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The wait staff was extremely friendly and were always close at hand to help in anyway we needed, but... More

The best place for novice and experienced Korean food lovers. My favorite is a rice bowl with either meat or seafood on top. The bowls are stone and come out sizzeling and keeps food hot and it is awesome. The owner KIM is such a delight, helpful in explaining all the trimmings and is a really fun person. I have... More
