FANTASTICALLY ACCOMODATING

They bow, they smile, they turn up the heat, they veganize all their hot pots and noodle dishes with seasoned tofu and veggies; their complimentary side plates are delicious, their organic barley tea, they have chilled leechee saki, what more can you ask for! They need to put vegan offerings on... read more

Was more of a 4+ but I didn't want to mess up their average. Was a great night. Decent prices, great meal, not *especially* large portions. Service was fantastic; server want to guide us through the menu. I ordered bi bam bop, which was great. My wife got kimchee and fried rice and loved it. We'll be back.

My wife and I ate at Asahi's this week (19 Mar 2014) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is nice, it has an oriental feel, but they were playing american music. The tables were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The wait staff was extremely friendly and were always close at hand to help in anyway we needed, but... More

This is one of my favorite places in the ENTIRE city!! Kimberly is a doll!!! She remembers everyone by name or face and always has a smile, which is the most important peice of your uniform! Her mom and dad are wonderful and they are the owners. Since i have been going there for so long they always remember me... More

The best place for novice and experienced Korean food lovers. My favorite is a rice bowl with either meat or seafood on top. The bowls are stone and come out sizzeling and keeps food hot and it is awesome. The owner KIM is such a delight, helpful in explaining all the trimmings and is a really fun person. I have... More

This restaurant was so much fun. We not only had an incredible meal, but a Korean lesson in food service as well. Our server, Daughter of the owners, was awesome. She explained all the different foods and how the Korean traditionally serve it comparing it to what americans may be used to. The food was presentation was excellent and the... More

As previously mentioned it is in an out of the way shopping center near the corner of Independence and Pleasure House Road. I tried it last night for the first time, and had Korean food for the first time. The service was excellent. The waitress (probably a family member, or owner) made us feel like she was having us over... More

I have worked around the corner from this place since it opened, but never knew it was there until a colleague took me today for lunch. The shopping center is old and the outside betrays the beautiful interior. I had never had Korean food before. I will definitely be going back. The food was yummy and I really loved the... More

This restaurant was just off our usual way south from our DelMarva home just off Route 13 in Virginia Beach. It is a small family run restaurant with a friendly and helpful waitress named Kim. It was a Tuesday Afternoon and she helped us find dishes to eat that fit my wife's inexperience with Korean food and my vegetarian diet.... More
