Whole lot of food!

Talk about large portions, the average sandwich can feed a small family! Big portions, big flavor and huge desserts. Only complaint is the prices, as some sandwich are close to $20. As they say... "You get what you pay for!" We will be back!

If I had to pick my favorite Virginia Beach restaurant this one would be right at the top. The sandwiches can't be beat and the desserts are sinfully delicious. Portions are more than generous and I always end up taking enough home to make another meal. It's as if you were in the heart of NYC, without sacrificing the charm... More

Been to this deli a couple of times and are never disappointed...The servings are huge..You certainly get your monies worth...The service was good and the atmosphere was nice...I have been to the Carnegie deli in NYC and this place is just as good...I think it can be a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for,, we had... Stopped in for lunch and was blown away by the size of the sandwiches. We split the turkey/bacon and onion rings. The sandwich was great and so were the onion rings. I only wish we had room left for the delicious-looking desserts. Maybe next time. Service was great.

My wife and I split "The Super Reuben" and the sandwich was as good as those touted by the NY Deli icons of Carnegie and Katz! The bread was buttered and then grilled, the cheese and the sauerkraut were delicious, but the meats deserve their own review. Our sandwich came with both Corned Beef and Pastrami and it was cooked... More

We have visited this restaurant several times. The food is always delicious...and, unless you choose to really stuff yourself, you will be able to take home half of your meal for another day! We have tried several different dishes...and have loved them all. Once, we even ordered one slice of cheesecake for dessert (to be split three ways). My husband... More

Wow...authentic melt in your mouth pastrami on fresh rye bread. Fantastic. Matzo Ball soup was a little bland. You will not be disappointed but bring your wallet it is not inexpensive...but so worth it.Yum!

We went to the Route 58 Deli for lunch during restaurant week. It was packed! They were running a special on their Super Ruben for $10.... It was amazing. We had two meals off of it! Took the black-and-white cookie to go as it came with the meal, but the cakes in the window looked fantastic! Maybe next time.

Went here for restaurant week. They boast a rueben sandwich so big you won't be able to finish it. The samdwich is huge but it has a top and bottom layer of sauerkraut. Take that off and it is a regular size sandwich. For a $15 reuben, I will look elsewhere, thank you.

Had the Ruben sandwich during restaurant week , found the rye bread superb and the meat out of this world. The only negative just a bit to much sauerkraut . The dressing was excellent .
