Triple decker turkey club was outstanding. Fresh carved white meat turkey. Corned beef was the best I've tasted. Crinkle cut fries are simply perfect. Crispy, non greasy, just out of the fryer. Service could not be better. Only negative comment. ... Unusually enormous is the only option. If you're not interested in sharing you'll likely waste allot. Only come in... More

The deli offers huge sandwiches with meats that are extremely well cooked and very lean. The portions cannot be finished in one sitting making for a great leftover lunch. The service is also excellent. It compares very well with the Carnegie Deli in NYC.

Took my 88 year old grandmother today. She said she has never seen this much food on a plate in her life. Great sandwich meats lots of food great desserts. But don't come here thinking you are going to only spend like $10 on a sandwich, you get what you pay for. For one ruben sandwich 2 Coca Cola s... More

Wow! We've dined at several NYC delis and this place is as good if not better than any of them! Our party of 3 thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered: potato knish, super reuben, beef brisket and pastrami and provolone (huge enough to eat and had enough left over for dinner!). Sandwich was a little more expensive than usual but totally... More

Had the house special Reuben and took half back to the hotel for later. Came at 1:30 PM and it was still packed. Like being at a New York Deli just without the attitude. The cheesecake was huge - this is a must stop for anyone.

My parents, sister, husband, 2 year old daughter and I visited this place on the way back to VA Beach from the zoo in Norfolk based on some reviews I had read. We got there around 1:15pm on a Monday and we waited for about 20 minutes for a table. Basically, it's a New York/Polish deli. My family was really... More

We live in VA BEACH, and we Must have a meal here Several times a month. Soup to Dessert, you will not be able to eat it all. Plenty to take home for the next day , Cheerfully Wrapped to take home by the wonderful Staff. Kudos to Jeff and the entire 58 Deli Family. YUM!

Our rainy beach vacation sent us exploring. The Route 58 Delicatessen was a fun stop. The NYC atmosphere is a nice contrast to the usual beach theme. Very crowded and obviously popular. The portions are huge, HUGE! Two of us split one sandwich, and were each only able to eat half of what we had. The waitress even asked if... More
