Wow...authentic melt in your mouth pastrami on fresh rye bread. Fantastic. Matzo Ball soup was a little bland. You will not be disappointed but bring your wallet it is not inexpensive...but so worth it.Yum!

We went to the Route 58 Deli for lunch during restaurant week. It was packed! They were running a special on their Super Ruben for $10.... It was amazing. We had two meals off of it! Took the black-and-white cookie to go as it came with the meal, but the cakes in the window looked fantastic! Maybe next time.

Went here for restaurant week. They boast a rueben sandwich so big you won't be able to finish it. The samdwich is huge but it has a top and bottom layer of sauerkraut. Take that off and it is a regular size sandwich. For a $15 reuben, I will look elsewhere, thank you.

Had the Ruben sandwich during restaurant week , found the rye bread superb and the meat out of this world. The only negative just a bit to much sauerkraut . The dressing was excellent .

I never get tired of Rte 58. Pastrami on sourdough, marble cheesecake for dessert. The food is always incredible, served quickly and hot. Friendly waitstaff. You'll leave full and happy.

The corned beef is more tender than I realized was possible. The roast beef is perfectly done. The sandwiches are piled high with meat. There are Generous servings of fries and onion rings. Deserts are served in take-out boxes because you will NOT finish them unless you are sharing them with two or three other diners. Our server was sassy/sweet... More

All I ever order is the corned beef sandwiches, the corned beef omelet and the hamburger with corned beef. Each of these entrees is the biggest I have ever seen. We often share the entree and still bring corned beef home for a later meal. The corned beef is really, really tender. The prices aren't bad considering how many meals... More

I'm constantly home sick for New York City, and when I heard there was a deli like this down here, I got really excited. The atmosphere is great, and I immediately felt at home... Until the food came. The matzo ball soup tasted like low sodium Campbell's with some matzo balls thrown in. They weren't firm, add they should be,... More
