The most expensive sandwich I ever loved!

Definitely worth coming in and experiencing this quality deli sandwich. The pastrami, corn beef and brisket are top notch! A little intimidating because they sound huge, but you'll be surprised how much you'll eat because they are just that delicious!

Amazing deli sandwiches, reminiscent of my days in NYC. The pastrami was lean, the turkey well seasoned and roasted. Make sure you go hungry as the "small" sandwiches are packed with 1/2 pound of meat. I highly recommend the Russian cabbage soup ( better than the mushroom barley or matzah ball). The potato knish is terrific. Save room for dessert,... More

Route 58 Delicatessen is as good as the best NYC delis (I.e. Katz's). One difference: the Route 58 Delicatessen staff is a LOT nicer! Outstanding pastrami.

I would favorably compare the Route 58 Deli, located in Loehmann's Plaza in the Thalia area of Virginia Beach to any of the New York Deli's I have visited. The sandwiches, especially, are massive and true to the quality of a good New York deli tradition, and I have made this observation in an earlier review. This was my third... More

There really is nothing negative to say about this place EXCEPT they seem to be on the cheap side. When I asked them to package a doggie bag for me (there is no way a human can each the amount of meat they give you), they charged me for two slices of bread to go with the significant meat that... We were really excited about finding this deli. The staff was very friendly, and the service was good. The restaurant is very nostalgic and you can tell that the owner believes in going over the top on everything. If you are thinking about going here, definitely consider looking at the pictures first. It was a must visit.Amazing cheesecake pics. The corned beef... More

We stop here every time we visit Virginia Beach. The pastrami is to die for. The breads fresh, everything is oversized and delicious.I could never go to a Subway after eating at a place like this, not even once!
