Worthy of the bucks.

This deli had one table left when my friend and I arrived on a Sat. afternoon. We both got a small sandwich with the Greek salads. The salad was the best Greek salad that I have ever eaten and I had eaten them in many places around the world. I got a pastrami sandwich. I asked for lean and... read more

Huge obese sized tasteless sandwiches. Not my style of diner. Over priced. Would never eat there again.

This deli thrives by serving humongous portions of meat on their sandwiches. I am not a fan of overstuffing sandwiches with meat, but this place has built a following by doing just that. The quality of the deli meat is good, but the portion is ridiculous - this is something they brag about, with the wait staff's shirts reading "If... More

Route 58 is pretty great. The portions are insane. I usually have to take half of the meat off my sandwich to even get my mouth around it. The sandwiches can be dry (the turkey especially). Not somewhere I visit often but always good when I do.

Nothing special here. Had one of the 'huge' sandwiches that everyone raves about and was very disappointed. I make better at home. Lots of meat was the only perk. Sliced wheat bread looked out of the common bag. Tomato and lettuce were not fresh. Had high hopes because of the reviews, but they were dashed to pieces. Such a let... More

I'm a big fan of pastrami and I ordered a sandwich and it was so much I had to take it to go. Lots of things going on inside. Lots of stuff to look at. The menu is a bit crazy too. But the food was great.

You know Katz's famous deli in NYC. Now you have a taste of NYC in Virginia Beach. It's all HUGE. It's all tasty. All your deli favorites, including knish, lox, mile high pastrami, corned beef, kraut, rich brown gravy for fries, and slices of cheesecake big enough to feed three people....although you won't want to share. Service is prompt and... More

Not a place to go if you are not into eating huge portions. They served breakfast in the past but recently changed that and now they only have a couple of breakfast options. Staff not overly friendly and food as I mentioned in my title is ok at best.

This Deli, New Jersey/New York Style has excellent sandwiches, special desserts, and service and decor unique to our area, which does indeed believe in the title above. Usually crowded at lunch and dinner, it serves folks off Route 58 in Loehmann's Plaza near the Central Library. Take out and deli platters available. You won't be disappointed!

Their food is awesome, and you get a lot of it. The atmosphere is is really neat too. I staff is very friendly. The only thing I had a small problem with was the price. They are a little expensive. My Ruben was around 17, but It was really big. Give it a try.
