What a treat. My wife and I believe their pastrami and corned beef rivals Katz's and Carnegie in NYC. The menu is broad and reasonably priced, considering the size of the portions. The two of us split a sandwich and still waddle out the door. Can't wait to go back. This is a MUST DO!

Our teenage, who can pretty much devour a cow alone, is always satisfied with this place and its portions. The food is always great and the staff is just as great. It’s always a pleasure to grab a meal here.

The food is great and the portions are always way too much for one. Great deli meals for anytime of the day. A bit pricey but a bit too much food.

We spent 45 including tip and wee totally stuffed. We had the huge Ruben, stuffed cabbage, and fries as well as some disgusting pickled tomatoes (which they took off the bill). The stuffed cabbage and sandwhich were awesome as was their rye bread. The rest was fine, we wanted cheesecake but couldn't got it in. Such a cute place with... More

Was hoping this place would be a great sandwich place. It is a place that multiple school teams go to. The food is just average and does not appear to be fresh, frozen. The place inside is not very clean and the restrooms were very smelly with no ventilation. It would take a lot for me to go back here.

If you think that it is impossible to locate an authentic delicatessen outside New York, Philadelphia or Baltimore - think again. When I last reviewed Route 58 Delicatessen (December 2012), my caption was "Best Deli This Side of Manhattan". That characterization has not changed, as corroborated by dozens of other very positive reviews. This time, my wife and I shared... More

Famous for their tremendous Reuben sandwich filled with almost fatless pastrami, corned beef and traditional toppings, this place can't be beat. Enough to feed four, the price is just right. Big Apple food is hard to find here but this will satisfy your yearning. Top it off with a real cheese cake flown from NY daily! The soups are homemade... More

If your in the VA Beach area and want a good Rueben go to this establishment. Very awsome food and you will leave filling full. Just becareful if you order the soda. At $2.99 it is a little steep. Just get a water.

We've eaten here twice now and both times we've been extremely impressed. You have to be ready to spend some money but the sandwiches are fantastic. i agree with all of the other reviewers , this place could probably get alot more business if it was willing to sell half portions. I for one would be here three times a... More

Huge sandwiches, at around $18 a pop I guess they should be. Food was good but not quite great. Service was excellent though.
