We visited Eat for our anniversary. This restaurant came highly recommended to us. I had high hopes for this restaurant but it unfortunately fell short. Lets start with parking, while I understand that this restaurant is located at the oceanfront, and parking can be difficult, this place had a very odd set up. You had to pull up to the... More

At the northern tip of the boardwalk is a wonderful under rated eatery called "Eat". Despite the understated outside appearance and fighting with the parking meters in the street because there is no parking at this restaurant, we were very pleasantly surprised by the somewhat up scale decor and atmosphere once we were inside. As it was a little early... More

I came for a business meeting and decided to eat here 3 peers, one of us recommended the place and looked like the hero. The food was phenomenal, I had the special veal chop and was delicious. Although it is small place, it has a great personality and ambiance. And the service was great!! Victoria from chile was top service,... More

So glad I tried this on the recommendation of the Courtyard less than .5 miles away. I wanted something I could walk to that was pretty much on the beach. I was able to eat out side and hear the ocean. The service was great and the food was delicious! Portions were just right, definitely enough. I had the veal... More

Little place that proves looks can be deceiving. Very small sign, once inside nice but cozy. Good bar with great selections of drinks. Nightly specials with seafood apps and main dishes. Good size portions, great win selection and Mondays are half priced wine night. Not dressy, but a little nicer than most beach places. Staff is super accommodating. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great time when we went to "Eat" for our anniversary. We easily made a reservation on Open Table and arrived early for a drink in the cozy bar (it is small so we had to stand, but that was fine with us). The hostess sat us a bit early which was great, and the... More

We had higher expectations. Little pricey for what you get. In an odd little area next to a condo complex. The vegetarian lasagna was very tasty but could have been warmer.

We sat outside which we really enjoyed. There were some decent wine choices. The food was interesting, we shared two appetizers, tuna tartare and pork belly. Our entrees included halibut and beef tenderloin. The price was quite reasonable. It is good to see VA beach becoming a food town.

The food is very good and the service is also. We usually go "last minute" and sit and eat at the bar. Rob is our favorite bartender . It would be nice if they could give the place a "new do". It is becoming dingy and almost beginning to appear dirty. I think it is time for a face lift.

We ate inside and it had a nice atmosphere. Food and service were great. Avoid sitting outside unless you think the parking lot is a nice place with a view of tall hotels and 7-11 around you.
