Located in Church Point at a stylish bed and breakfast location in the middle of neighborhood, The Cellars has a lot if personality. Yep, it's in the basement of an old farm house in Church Point. It's a beautiful dining room and very romantic. They change their menu regularly, focusing on innovative classic American food. On this evening, I ordered... More

If you are in Virginia beach and looking for a romantic restaurant then you must come here. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We happen to go at a time during the week when it wasn’t busy and we felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It reminded me of a restaurant in Italy. The... More

The grounds and gardens are amazing. As we arrived a bit early, we took some time to walk around and take it all in. Service was great, other than she forgot my husband's side vegetable dish and had to be reminded. There were 4 of us. We ordered the salmon, steak and quail. The salmon & steak were delicious &... We were served in the cellar of an authentic 1860's farmhouse. The Cellars of Church Point Manor is nestled in neighborhood of Church Point. The atmosphere was divine with attention to every detail in the decor. The food matched the attention to detail with every bite awe inspiring. The dessert was heavenly. Definitely a do over. Whether for two and/or... More

Tucked away in an upscale residential area in Virginia Beach and known primarily to locals, The Cellars is truly a hidden gem. It is located in the basement of an 1860's manor house that now serves as a B&B. The rooms in the restaurant are configured in such a way as to provide a certain amount of privacy, especially for... We recently decided to do dinner at The Cellars based on it's word-of-mouth reputation. In short, I would have to say that this was one of the ultimate dining experiences of a lifetime. The restaurant is set in an exquisitely beautiful cellar. Very intimate and comforting. The food was nothing short of sublime. I have enjoyed many experiences of fine... More

Some of the distinguishing features were the location, architecture, Gourmet Chef driven menu, eclectic collection of turn of the century furnishings and of course you're dining in a cellar! This is truly a remarkable restaurant. The staff is pleasant and efficient and understands what their role is in your experience. The menu is unique and forces considerable thought before choosing.... More

I agree with others about the service in this restaurant....disjointed. Never removing plates until the next course came....having to ask for a knife and a fork after the entrée arrived.....coffee came out warm, not hot, and no desert in sight to enjoy with that coffee. Just things like this make great food less great. They need to train their staff... More

I was sad to read, that others in February had a unpleasant experience. My husband took me for my birthday to the Cellars. We had a great experience. The concierge greeted us very nicely and brought us to the table. The waitresses and the food was outstanding. I had the ban ban shrimp was excellent. The manager even brought us... More

My husband and I ate at The Cellars yesterday. The atmosphere was very quaint and romantic, service was great but the food left much to be desired. The sea scallop entree I had left me disappointed. The scallops were cold in the middle and the potatoes were crunchy, very crunchy. I don't know if they were cooked that way on... More
