This was our first time at this restaurant...and we were very impressed. The interior was a cellar - tastefully decorated and cozy. Table and Seats were good and comfortable. The gentlemen was very knowledgeable on the wines offered on the menu...his recommendation was perfect! Our server (she) was a little slow...(follow-up or refilling water). The entrees were amazing (see photo... More

The manager, Jason, and our waiter, Lorenzo, made my fiancée and I feel right at home. With me being a college student walking into a restaurant of this caliber, I was worried it was going to be a very stuffy and pretentious atmosphere, but it was very warm and inviting. The food was absolutely perfect in every way: the best... More

I went with my wife to The Cellars to celebrate our anniversary. We were not let down or disappointed in any way. We arrived early and sat at the bar for a drink before our meal. The bartender was knowledgeable, friendly and made a great Martini. As out reservation time grew closer we made our way to the hostess station... More

I discovered this restaurant via the internet as it was listed as one of the top 100 most romantic restaurants in the country. Wanting to find a nice restaurant in the Virginia Beach area this seemed like the place to go. The location of the restaurant seemed a bit odd as we drove through upscale neighborhood to get there. The... More

Located in Church Point at a stylish bed and breakfast location in the middle of neighborhood, The Cellars has a lot if personality. Yep, it's in the basement of an old farm house in Church Point. It's a beautiful dining room and very romantic. They change their menu regularly, focusing on innovative classic American food. On this evening, I ordered... More

If you are in Virginia beach and looking for a romantic restaurant then you must come here. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We happen to go at a time during the week when it wasn’t busy and we felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It reminded me of a restaurant in Italy. The... More

The grounds and gardens are amazing. As we arrived a bit early, we took some time to walk around and take it all in. Service was great, other than she forgot my husband's side vegetable dish and had to be reminded. There were 4 of us. We ordered the salmon, steak and quail. The salmon & steak were delicious &... We were served in the cellar of an authentic 1860's farmhouse. The Cellars of Church Point Manor is nestled in neighborhood of Church Point. The atmosphere was divine with attention to every detail in the decor. The food matched the attention to detail with every bite awe inspiring. The dessert was heavenly. Definitely a do over. Whether for two and/or... More

Tucked away in an upscale residential area in Virginia Beach and known primarily to locals, The Cellars is truly a hidden gem. It is located in the basement of an 1860's manor house that now serves as a B&B. The rooms in the restaurant are configured in such a way as to provide a certain amount of privacy, especially for... We recently decided to do dinner at The Cellars based on it's word-of-mouth reputation. In short, I would have to say that this was one of the ultimate dining experiences of a lifetime. The restaurant is set in an exquisitely beautiful cellar. Very intimate and comforting. The food was nothing short of sublime. I have enjoyed many experiences of fine... More
