Dined at the Lucky Oyster for the first time recently and really enjoyed the fried oyster dinner that came with a salad and loaded baked potato. Took half of the oysters with home with me and they were just as good reheated (in toaster oven, not microwaved) the next day.

I believe that the true test of any restaurant is how they handle a large, sprawling, continuously arriving party group. With guests coming and going at all different times and a number of different orders/needs, this can quickly become a nightmare. But not here! I was pleasantly surprised with how well Ashley, our server, was constantly attentive and made us... More

Had dinner here with my inlaws and had a decent meal. Can't say it was the best seafood I had but better than Joe's crab shack. In fact it reminded be of Joe's when I first stepped foot into the restaurant. They do have a raw oyster bar which was a nice touch. The food here was decent but there... More

We ventured off the main Atlantic Ave. strip and came upon the Lucky Oyster. I had the Mahi Mahi with lobster risotto. It was GREAT!! The overall atmosphere was ok, service was good. Some of the other menu items were just average. Good drink selection. I had a very tasty cherry lime cocktail.

During a combined family dinner with 13 members, we were seated quickly and enjoyed a great meal. The servings were plentiful and the quality was excellent. Very unique nautical atmosphere with some very interesting artifacts. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating even with two members who required gluten free meals. We'll definitely return next year during our summer vacation.

Met friends who have moved down and suggested it to us. The food was very good, the place was busy but we were seat very quickly. Service was ok and since we were catching up with friends no one rushed us out. We would go back.

Although this restaurant was a bit out of our way from the day's activities, we are VERY happy we made the trip. My wife was thinking about oysters all weekend and on our final night in Va Beach, we found this wonderful restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was good, the prices were awesome! Great Happy Hour specials in... More

We went to this restaurant 3 times during our week in Virginia Beach. We loved every meal there, but especially the oysters...steamed and fried. We wish we lived closer so we could eat there every week!

Both times we ate there everything was wonderful from beginning to end. Had 2 different waitresses who were both pleasant and not one complaint from the people I ate lunch and dinner with during those visits.

My dad and brother came here for lunch and had a wonderful mean. The oysters on the half shell weren’t huge but were find. I had the crab cake sandwich and it was wonderful. The bun was excellent. There was a big ripe tomato slice, green leaf lettuce (not iceberg) and two long pickle slices. The tartar sauce was just... More
