Very beachy theme, very busy! This is a seafood based eatery however my friends said all the fried food was bland and under seasoned. I had a chicken mushroom florentine that was outstanding! The crab dip with pretzel bread was also outstanding! Meals average about 22.00+. I'd go back just for the chicken florentine and crab dip!

We have been to this restaurant 10-12 times. Worst experience we have had and it was my birthday! Waitress was nice helpful and pleasant. I ordered fish & chips but substituted fried corn. Hubby ordered 2 seafood items & one side. He ordered double shrimp and french fries. Got SIX scallops and handful of FF. My fish was HEAVILY battered... More

The décor is fun and exciting and the menu is varied. I love the seafood cobb salad. We love riding our bikes here and eating outside.

The atmosphere was nice on a Wednesday night. Very calm and enjoyable. The staff were nice and also helpful with food questions. We enjoyed our meal and time chatting with family. The fresh seafood was very nice!

Stopped here for lunch at the recommendation of a local as a place for seafood. Good Call! Kitschy atmosphere with over-the-top sportfishing theme, but interesting none-the-less. Help was cheerful and prompt and the fried oysters, and She-Crab soup were outstanding!

I've been here at least 50 times. Being a local, I get lots of visitors who want seafood and this is where I take them. Not the world's best seafood restaurant, but plenty good and a pleaser for my friends.

We visited the Lucky Oyster on a Sunday Evening and were impressed with the homey atmosphere and the nautical décor. We ordered a calamari Appetizer and it was fair. It was slightly over cooked and a little rubbery. The bread crumb coating used was a little coarse and detracted from the overall taste. We then ordered three items for dinner:... More

This was a place where you could get really great east coast seafood. The crab cakes are truly Maryland style. Red beans and rice are wonderful We will make this a regular stop when in Va Beach

Dinner with friends is always special and what better yet with good food at a great place. Was at Lucky Oyster for dinner and got lucky as it is the last day of Restaurant Week. Great deal for $20. Appetizers of calamari and the basket of bread is always a great start. The shrimp and scallops on penne, yummy. Visit... More
