I could spend a few paragraphs gushing over how much I love this place for its fantastic food, but I really think not enough has been said here about Burton's drinks menu. The kitchen at Burton's is amazing, don't get me wrong, but the bartenders need some credit, too! Burton's is our go-to date night restaurant, as well as a... More

My boyfriend and I went here for a nice dinner during our beach trip. We started out hopeful, but after checking in for our 7:45 reservation and being told we had to wait I knew it was going to be interesting (to say the least), 20 minutes later, yes, that's 20 minutes later a smiley insincere hostess (not the one... Everything we had was delicious! The soup of the day was a pleasantly light black eye pea soup with collard greens and ham. The filet and scallops combo were cooked just right. My husband really enjoyed his bronzed mahi mahi over a risotto corn sugar snap pea base. They key lime pie was made individually and did not disappoint. The... More

My wife and I were in VA beach the week of the 4th of July and saw the reviews and decided to have dinner here. It's a chain but don't let that keep you away. I had the surf and turf with scallops and my wife had the catch of the day and we both really enjoyed our meals. Wine... More

Have been a couple of time, on vacation, and experience was very good both times. Food is well-prepared, and quite good for a "chain-type" restaurant. Rib-eye was very tasty, well-prepared. Beet salad is excellent. Service is well-meaning, but a little clumsy (forgetfullness) at times. For VB, an excellent place. Compared to restaurants in general we've been too: 4 out of... More

I am not a chain kind of guy. I vigorously avoid chains. Even when I am in unfamiliar areas, traveling with family, I look for local alternatives. But I have a picky eater, and when our original plans for dinner fell through, I had to scramble. Then I remembered hearing that Burton's is known for having a lot of choices... More

The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was better than most. They were out of the citrus sangria :( so I got the watermelon margarita, holy moly. It tasted like a watermelon jolly rancher, which I loved. It also packed a pretty good punch, I only had one. The complimentary bread and herb butter is amazing. I'd take a pound... More

We really enjoyed our meal at Burton's. The kids menu is great and all kids' entrees are $6.00. The menu was very accomodating for gluten free and offered gluten free pasta and bread and the servers were very knowledgable. The service was great and the food was very good. We will definitely come back!
