The restaurant is kinda funny in that you never know when it will be open. But Sandbridge is like an island and I suppose they're on island time? I love that they're right across the street from Sanctuary and a very handy (and tasty) spot to grab pizza. We haven't had anything else there, so I can't comment on their... More

We went to Baja on the night before New Year's Eve and enjoyed a nice meal and some drinks. Although it was not open that night, the back bar and the rear lawn looked like it would be a real nice location to enjoy a night. We would definitely return if we come back to Virginia Beach. More

Having been here several times, each has been a different but pleasant experience. In peak summer times, I have refused to wait in the lines, but in the off season I have come to appreciate their upgraded dining room and more sophisticated menu. While steaks are their advertised specialty, I've elected seafood since its just a block from the ocean... More

We go to the Baja all the time- it is one of our favorite places in VA Beach. They have a back bar area where bands play some nights and there is a pool table. There is a huge grassy area where folks congregate to play Corn Hole. And on Tues night in the summer they have Dodge Ball in... More

We love this restaurant...in fact this year it was the only restaurant we went to while staying on Sandbridge OBX...If we did not cook at the house, we went to the Baja! More

I have been to the Baja twice. The first time it was for a wedding and the second was returning back a few years later (with the former bride and groom). The restaurant is at the end of the Sandbridge area, with the big houses, sandy dunes and a condo complex at the end. The menu is diverse with burgers... More

3 of us went for dinner and without any effort at all, the bill was $95. 2 appetizers ("south of the border oysters" and the crab soup), 3 entrees (caesar salad with shrimp, 2 orders of mahi tacos and 5 beers... and the bill was $95 with very little effort. Overall, the experience was nothing special and more expensive than... More

Our family of 9 dined at Baja for dinner. We ordered a number of different dishes from pizza to ribs including the fish tacos which were a daily special. Several of the dishes were burnt and had to be returned to the kitchen. The fish tacos had only 4 small pieces of dried fish on them and cost $18.95! The... More

The food was good...but the server/hostess was absolutely the very rudest person ever! She made faces as she seated us...She brought us food, and practically threw it on the table. We were all from out of town; at a memorial service for a military family member. We were definately on the sad side...and she took it personal!!! As we left,... More
