Decided to stop here for lunch, been here before but not at lunch time. This is a down home country cooking place, don't expect fine dining. The waitresses are also friendly and service was super quick . I decided to try their special for the day which was pork tenderloin, mash potatoes , beans , and macaroni salad and a... More

This is a southern restaurant. People are friendly and treat you like family. The meals taste home cooked and you are treated with southern hospitality.

If you are from the area you know Armstrong but most importantly they know you. That is what makes the food and atmosphere good may have to wait sometimes but it's always with family!

My wife and I went for breakfast at 0900 on Saturday morning. After a 5 minute wait, our order was taken. 48 minutes later, and after watching multiple tables arrive, order, eat and leave (including a family of 5), I walked to the counter to advise them that we were leaving, they had the gall to charge us $3.00 for... Do not go to this place expecting 5 star dining experience. Very blue collar crowd. I would recommend the daily special. Sometimes hard to get a parking space with the service trucks in the parking lot. Enjoy

We were visiting the area and wanted something that wasn't fast food or your normal run-of-the-mill chain restaurant. Stopped here by chance for supper on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. Nevertheless, we had a very tasty supper that we enjoyed so much that we went back on Friday morning for breakfast! It was delicious. Don't expect anything... More

I'm pretty sure you can get the gist of things from the title. This was just a meal saturated in greese. The "philly" sandwich is nothing but steak'ums cooked in ridiculous amounts of oil. My wife attempted to get the grilled chicken BLT but they were somehow out of grilled chicken so she had to have a friend one. Friends,... More

We had heard this was a good place to eat but it doesn't look like it from the outside. But since we'd heard it was good, we decided to try it for lunch one day. I can't think of anything good to say about it. Some people like it but I don't know why.

Our party of 10 tried Armstrong's on a lunch break from an area travel volleyball tournament. A typical family type restaurant with red checked table clothes and diner menu. Our party enjoyed the "recommended" made to order hamburgers, philly cheese steak, homemade chicken salad sandwich and reuben. We backed up the kitchen so service was a bit slow but overall... More
