Despite reading numerous positive reviews, our family's experience was quite disappointing. Our Ruth's Chris experience in Fairfax was definitely superior. We were under-whelmed by the Capital Grille's food, service and atmosphere. The steaks were non-descript, the side dishes resembled buffet food, the waiter was aloof, and we were never offered "tap water". As a result, we were charged $7.00 per... More

HavIng visited the Capital Grille once before for dinner - good food, good service but NOT good value unless you are on an expense account, lunch was a wonderful surprise. Menu had lots of interesting options - two of us had the crab and lobster sandwich, one the lobster roll and one the cheeseburger - all priced at less than... More

Nice restaurant with super nice stuff. However, if I spend 100 USD on a dinner..I expect something special. based on the 2 dishes I had I can give it only 3 stars. One was "the salmon". The fish was overdone but had good taste. The whole plate , however, was soaked in fat or oil - no idea where the... More

We go to a steakhouse every year for my husband's birthday. We went to Ruth's Chris and to Morton's numerous times. We went to Capital Grille in VA last night and had the best experience ever! First of all, we called in letting them know we were late and they were so nice about it. They also decorated the table... More

Enjoyed a spur of the moment business lunch at Capital Grille with a colleague. Ordered the Cobb Salad with grilled steak for $20, which looked beautiful and tasted even better. Service was impeccable. Nice for special occasions.

We had dinner with a business group at this Restaurant. The location, the ambiance as well as the staff were outstanding and were only toped by the food. There is absolutely nothing negative to be said about this place. We will be back for sure. Capital Grill, congrats you know what you are doing.

While visiting in Tysons Corner and after an evenings shopping we called to The Capital Grille without a reservation. We we warmly welcomed and seated at a table to accomodate our shopping bags, which allowed us to sit back and enjoy our meal with plenty of space. Our waitress was Karon who was extremely pleasant and helpful. We had calamari... More

We dined here tonight during for DC restaurant week and had such a wonderful meal. We had filet mignon and kona crusted sirloin, and both were fabulous. While this is definitely a splurgy restaurant, going during restaurant week certainly makes it a more attainable treat. The whole evening felt like a special occasion, and a visit by Tonya the manager... More

I am lucky that my job lets me frequent the Capital Grille - and they're consistent excellence in food and service spans the more than 10 years of their operation in Tyson's Corner. I wanted to write this review to acknowledge my fantastic New Year's Eve Dinner this year. On a holiday that restaurants are "all about how many covers... More

I am a meat lover so I am always on the lookout for good steaks. This year I decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at The Capital Grille and it was superb, amazing, delicious. I had a Delmonico steak that rivaled some of the best Argentinean grilled steaks in Argentina! The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was fast... More
