I was excited to try this place, when the valet line of cars is only luxury it must be excellent right? All a charade! The service was fantastic, they try so hard to impress. The food was just okay. I've had better filet mignon. I liked the truffle salt fries, good thing my colleagues were willing to share because I... More

On a recent visit, my companion was refused a drink because the bartender refused to make it with the requested ingredients. Since there are several ways to make this particular cocktail my companion gave explicit instructions on the ingredients she wanted. Even though the bartender had all of the requested ingredients, he refused to make it the way she ordered.... More

Just a business lunch, I split the wonderful and very spicy calamari appetizer, and had a Cobb Salad with beef tenderloin - all was excellent. The salad included some greens, crumbled bacon, a hunk of bleu cheese, and half an avocado with a small portion of sliced tenderloin. Perfect sized business lunch. Our waiter Jose was excellent. Always enjoy this... More

The restaurant is noisy, the tables are close. It's also dark and difficult to read the menu - they give you a lighted electronic wine menu, which was helpful. The bar is nice - though small. It was difficult to hear the waiter and the service was good, but not what I had expected. If you want a loud, raucous... More

Went for a special holiday meal with my family. The only smart one was my wife who had the salmon. The "turkey" was sliced turkey roll - dry, white meat. The stuffing was tasteless. A surprisingly bad meal at a place I used to love.

For a $100 a person you should be able to expect more professional service and better technique with the food. I am not saying that at a $100 per person it can be amazing and mindblowing; that would require a lot more money than that. But, $100 is still a decent amount and you should not have to witness waiters... More

This location of the Capital Grille is somewhat hidden on the entry level of a large office building in the busy Tyson's Corner area of Northern Virginia. After parking in the underground lot, taking the elevator to the main floor and walking outside to access the restaurant, we discovered that there is valet parking at the entrance. Next time we'll... Hadn't been there in years but it was the perfect place to meet a client for lunch. The lobster bisque special and the onion soup on the menu were excellent and perfect for this cold winter day. I had the cheesburger special, my guest had the cobb salad. Very good and served quickly which is what I value at lunch... More

I want to start by saying very clearly that the manager and all of the staff tried desperately to give me free food and drinks. I had to argue with these people to pay for the items I ordered and did not receive. color me martyr but that was my choice. again they tried very hard to get me to... More
