Excellent service, atmosphere and food. I had a delicious steak and fabulous salad. The server was extremely attentive and helped with the meal choices. The wine was excellent as well.

My wife was celebrating with a friend of 50 years. Our waiter Coach was very attentive. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. They gave us champagne and two wonderfully presented congratulation desserts. Adam the manager spent some enjoyable moments with us making sure everything was to our liking. Thank you for a most enjoyable dinner.

We visit Virginia twice a year and must have dinner with our family and friends at the Capital Grille at least once each time and never had a bad experience. The combination of the ambiance, excellent service and superb food makes it a great dinner experience. The Delmonico steak is not to be missed, the lobster crab cakes unmatched. The... More

The decor is standard, and when that is your lead-in, the place is in trouble. Make no bones about it, this is the standard, large portion, over-priced American steakhouse. If that is what you desire, a) there are many in this chain, and b) there are numerous chains. The waiter had two tables, one for four (4) and me (a... More

The staff is attentive, but not hovering. The decor is mellow and stylish. The steaks were heavenly. I had a special that was amazing, my wife had the Delmonico (essentially an amazing rib eye). The bread was fresh baked and delicious. We had the grilled asparagus, very tasty. Then desert! The cheesecake and raspberry sorbet were delightful. Then they brought... More

A great experience...it had been a while since we had been but we won't wait long before returning. We opted to share an appetizer, salad and steak. Here's what we recommend: lobster/crab cakes to start--yum...chunky bits of claw lobster with crab and homemade tartar sauce with grilled lemon halves; iceberg wedge shared was wonderful with heirloom tomatoes, bacon and blue... Dinner with my wife and son - originally booked The Palm but timing was better at Capital Grille. Food was very good as always, and we got the semi-private room I requested. Waiter was more a bit more cloying than I hoped for, but no real problem. Only real negative was the drink order - other Capital Grille locations pour much... More

We have dined here many times over the years and on our last visit decided that it would be our last visit. The decor is very nice, dark and clubby style. The food is good, not great. Service is ok but not excellent. Prices are high for the quality of the food. The place is always crowded and very loud.... More

We always chose the Capital Grille for special occasions so when my niece's birthday rolled around that is where we headed. Unfortunately, that happened to coincide with "Restaurant Week". When we were seated I noticed immediately that extra tables seemed to have been crammed in. Once in my seat I realized the "cramming" was to the point of discomfort -... More

Went there last night around 8pm (on a Wednesday) and was raid it would be a 15 minute wait - more like 30 really. Little tricky to get a drink as the bar was full of people eating. When we were seated, the service was excellent. I had the 14oz Delmonico and it was outstanding. This is definitely on a... More
