Restaurant Week Disaster or the New Normal???

We always chose the Capital Grille for special occasions so when my niece's birthday rolled around that is where we headed. Unfortunately, that happened to coincide with "Restaurant Week". When we were seated I noticed immediately that extra tables seemed to have been crammed in. Once in my seat I realized the "cramming" was to the point of discomfort -... More

Went there last night around 8pm (on a Wednesday) and was raid it would be a 15 minute wait - more like 30 really. Little tricky to get a drink as the bar was full of people eating. When we were seated, the service was excellent. I had the 14oz Delmonico and it was outstanding. This is definitely on a... More

Another excellent meal at the Capital Grille. The menu is a nice balance and offers something for everyone. Special Requests, no problem. Always Superior Quality Ingredients and Impeccable Service. Linda runs the best Lounge in Tysons and Marcelo and Angela take the dinning room by storm. Business or Casual this is the Restaurant to go to.

This restaurant chain is expensive but consistent and that alone makes me love it. I have eaten in the Tysons location dozens of times but also the Palm Beach Gardens location as well. Same dish both restaurant same high quality. IPAD style wine list and dessert menus are great, especially if you don't know a lot about wine. Thanks again... More

I made reservations for our 10th anniversary a month out through their website with the special instructions indicating such. We arrived 15 mins early and their complimentary valet service promptly handed us our ticket and led us to the door. We were immediately seated in a booth and on the table was a card wishing us a happy anniversary surrounded... More

This was my second time here for lunch. We all had the scallops with risotto which were excellent. I had a green salad to start and it wasn't up to the scallops. The dressing and the greens were very ordinary and it was too cold from being held in a commercial refrigerator. The bread basket was blah --unleavened bread which... More

Loved the whole experience. The hostess was very professional and friendly and provided a warm welcome. The young lady who showed us to our table was warm and friendly. Our waitress was warm and friendly. It's not that my vocabulary is limited. It's just that the service was very consistent. Very often, service makes or breaks an experience. In this... More

My husband and I went for dinner. We were also celebrating our anniversary. We were in a nice room with other couples. They were having a wine special so my wine glass was always full. The food was wonderful from appetizer to dessert. Because it was our anniversary they gave us dessert for free. We are looking forward to returning... More

I was excited to try this place, when the valet line of cars is only luxury it must be excellent right? All a charade! The service was fantastic, they try so hard to impress. The food was just okay. I've had better filet mignon. I liked the truffle salt fries, good thing my colleagues were willing to share because I... More

On a recent visit, my companion was refused a drink because the bartender refused to make it with the requested ingredients. Since there are several ways to make this particular cocktail my companion gave explicit instructions on the ingredients she wanted. Even though the bartender had all of the requested ingredients, he refused to make it the way she ordered.... More
