My husband and I dined at the much talked about Palm in Tyson's Corner for our wedding anniversary. My steak was so unappetizingly "chewy" I knew immediately I could not eat it. My husband tried it planning to convince me I was being too picky. His bite of steak was so disgusting he excused himself to spit it out! Upon... More

was there for a work lunch with a large group. when taking my order the waiter called me "dear" which was totally unprofessional and demeaning. when the food arrived, my ahi tuna looked well done so i asked if the order was correct as i ordered it medium rate. in front of everybody and at the top of his voice... Arrived at 7:30, appropriately attired. Valet parked the vehicle. The room was half full/empty with a number of young kids bouncing around. We were seated. Waitress took my wife's drink order and left in a rush. I asked my wife to order for me since I was being completely ignored. Unacceptable at any price. We left. Valet returned the vehicle.... More

If you want to eat at the Palm go to D.C. If time does not allow ... Go to one of the other Tysons Steakhouses. Service is indifferent at best. My steak took three tries to get a Medium Rare tenderloin. Key lime pie was made without the key limes.

We had not been for probably 6 months. It was once a favorite restaurant. The last two times it was just ok but it works for us taking out our business friends who love beef. This time it was ridiculous. The prices are over the top, the service is indifferent at best. A new york strip is $41 and of... More

Quite possibly one of the most overrated restaurants in the Tyson's area. The bar is small and uncomfortable. The dinning area has an atmosphere like a TGI Fridays. Thats not necessarily bad if you are paying TGI Fridays prices. The food is mediocre. Nothing spectacular and nothing to brag about. I am convinced people go here because they don't know... More

Delicious food--only had a few instances where it wasn't up to par or had to be recooked (my husband asks for well done--gets medium rare). Service is usually very attentive, kind, and accurate. Fairly expensive--the price comes with The Palm name as well as the food. Lunch is much more reasonable. If you are hearing impaired, request a table in... More

My friend and I went there to celebrate her birthday. We got the prix fixe where for $45 each, we got salad, surf & turf, and dessert. The mixed greens salad was just ICEBURG lettuce on my plate with ONE spinach leaf tossed in with balsamic dressing. Bits of green onions too. The steak was ok as was the lobster... More

Restuarants are only as good as their management & chef. The chef here just isn't as good as the DC chef.

Adjacent to the Ritz Carlton, the Palm has a diverse atmospher available. If you wish to smoke, watch TV, and enjoy a more casual dinner, the bar area is open. By the way, their cigar and bourbon selection is very good. The dining room, service, and food are all great. II recommend the fried asparagus as a side dish.
