Description: Situated in one of the most coveted living and commercial areas in the US...
Situated in one of the most coveted living and commercial areas in the US, this Art Deco-inspired roadhouse stands atop a bluff above the crossroads connecting Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. With four dining rooms, two kitchens and balconies overlooking live palm trees, Clyde's of Tysons Corner sets a new standard for Clyde's. From it's first day in operation, it has drawn a huge crowd of international and residential visitors including: business people and shoppers to nearby families and Wolf Trap audiences. With decor and furnishings that invite guests to dine amidst the glory days of Art Deco, the only thing that might top the varied and extensive menu is the elaborate and sophisticated atmosphere.

Great oysters!

I love going here for oysters. It's one of 2 clydes in the area that has a raw bar. They're excellent. The entree's are great too! The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's kind of a weird vibe and we often have to wait at the hostess stand for anyone to show up... read more

We had tickets to see "The Ghosts of Versailles" at Wolftrap; Clyde's is always our restaurant of choice either on our way up to Virginia from S. Maryland, or on the way back. This time we'd made reservations for 5:15 p.m. before our show started at 7:30 p.m. We enjoyed a delicious dinner; one entree of fish and chips and... More

If you visit any Clyde's in the greater Washington area, you know what you'll get: generally okay grill- and sandwich-type foods at decent prices. This particular Clyde's is hard to find for first-time visitors, tucked into the corner of a hill near (but not connected directly to) Chain Bridge Road and requiring a roundabout drive to get there. What generally... More

My second time here in the past year. Both times we had a lovely meal in beautiful surroundings. Attentive and knowledgeable wait staff.

My friend and I called ahead on Sunday, June 14 as we were leaving a performance at Wolftrap to make a reservation at Clyde's. Both the food and the service were excellent. We ordered clams as an appetizer ($13.95); they were served on ice - a lovely presentation! For an entree, I had the 5 oz fillet mignon, cooked to... More

We have been to both the Reston and Ashburn Clyde's many times but decided to meet our out of town friends for brunch at the Tyson's location and it was an amazing time. Food was great. They have a good number of brunch menu. I had the the Bennie (Norwegian) poached egg with salmon......and it was just delicious. All six... More

I confess I am a local who has dined at many Clyde's establishments. But as a Marylander, I only recently ventured to the Tysons location. The food was up to Clyde's excellent standards. The crab cakes were wonderful with little filling. And with ramps which apparently have morphed from WV fields to DC gourmet fare. Our waiter was attentive and... More

We've gone to this restaurant so many times. It is always a favorite. Crab cakes and the crab artichoke dip are super.

We searched this location out. It as a bit difficult to find but well worth the extra hassle of one or two u-turns to get myself where I needed to be (mind you, the u-turns were probably my fault). The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. The service was very slow at the beginning of the meal. The server was... More

My wife & I ate here recently on a Friday night while staying just down the road a bit in Tyson's Corner. The restaurant's location is kind of tucked back a way from any major roads but is also within 1/2 mile of a Metro rail station (Greensboro). I ordered the crab cake dinner and enjoyed it. The crab cake... More
