Description: Situated in one of the most coveted living and commercial areas in the US, this Art Deco-inspired roadhouse stands atop a bluff above the crossroads connecting Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. With four dining rooms, two kitchens and balconies overlooking live palm trees, Clyde's of Tysons Corner sets a new standard for Clyde's. From it's first day in operation, it has drawn a huge crowd of international and residential visitors including: business people and shoppers to nearby families and Wolf Trap audiences. With decor and furnishings that invite guests to dine amidst the glory days of Art Deco, the only thing that might top the varied and extensive menu is the elaborate and sophisticated atmosphere.

We went for holiday week lunch, and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. The setting is attractive and unusual; I think this location of the regional chain restaurant is about 30 years old, and has been nicely maintained and updated to showcase metalwork and murals. There is an interior atrium that lends a bright element on even an... More

Met friends at one our favorites in Tysons Corner- Never reviewed before this time though. On this Saturday evening visit, our table was ready on time and tucked away in a quiet corner, Their freshly made bread is a treat and definitely habit forming. Two of us ordered the special Veal Wiener Schnitzel and two the trout. The schnitzel, comprised of... More

My friends birthday dinner was held here. Its difficult to find, but its a lovely restaurant, very romantic. The staff is inviting and friendly. However, the food was average, but it was a good value for the price we paid. I had the steak, it was a juicy and tender medium rare.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years and never been disappointed. The service is friendly, food is always tasty, and every room is beautifully decorated and very clean. They have magicians to do tricks for tables with kids when you come to brunch and have carolers at the holidays. Always fun !

I asked for Sweet Potato Fries, which were superb, accompanied by 3 pieces of non-greasy fish. A colleague had Atlantic Salmon with Quinoa, and she was pleased with it. I would have chosen the same Salmon if only I could have envisioned it to look like the real thing. A picture is worth 1,000 words in this case :) Hopefully,... More

Just great all around. American menu...steaks, chops, salads, sandwiches bar food and so on. One of the best calfs liver servings I've had. Many different beer selections. Great mixed drinks. Can't wait to go back. And, great service.

I lived in Georgetown a lot of years ago when I went to school there. As a college student with limited funds, for a "special" night out I would go to Clyde's on M Street, sit at the bar and have a hamburger. While on business in Northern Virginia the other day I was happy to see a Clyde's in... More

Clyde's has always been a delight to visit. The food is still excellent and recommended. My guest ordered a New York Strip steak, which was a mistake as well as bad manners. The cost was $30, which I found beyond outrageous. There are plenty of mid-priced entrees and a good selection of most kinds of food. With the exception of... More

I ate dinner at Clyde's with a large group attending on business. The restaurant is capable of handling decent size groups but I would schedule arrival at dinner just before seven as the restaurant became quite busy between seven and eight. I found the menu to be rather peculiar without any theme as it ranged from burgers to gourmet lobster.... More
