Nice little place with Good Food

We were with a group, but my husband and I were behind the rest of them. It was mid afternoon, so the place was kind of dead. Nevertheless, we got quick service. Everyone's food was good pub fare. I had a

I am staying at the Courtyard located beside this restaurant. On Sunday at approximately 430pm I decided to try out the food here since I have tried some other restaurants within walking distance. I entered the restaurant and noticed a sign at the entrance that told me to seat myself. There were no vacancies at the bar so I took... More

My husband and I crashed at O'Malley's after a long day of DC sightseeing and walking. The cold beer, midnight bite (although a rather short selection, given the late hours), energetic yet talkable atmosphere and friendly staff were just what we needed. I would be very happy to come back and try the rest of their selection.

I have had a couple of meals at this restaurant, and have enjoyed the experience both times. Typically, I don't tend to expect much from a hotel bar, but this place feels like a typical neighborhood pub. On the most recent visit, March 5th snowstorm, the place was packed since it was one of the few restaurants that was open.... More

Bartenders were very friendly. They kinda make up for the so-so food. Ordered two appetizers...steak quesadillas and wings, just average. The steak was more like steak-um meat than realy steak, but still flavored nice. The buffalo wings were basic. Wish we had gotten the jambalaya. Drinks are well-made.

Nice bar, small but cozy. Try the Irsh nachos, or jambalaya ... Or just ask Sid. TV's could be better. Located in Crowne plaza.

The service was absolutely awful. I ordered the chips with queso, guacamole and salsa. The dips came in those small, silver au jus bowls. The guac was good but the salsa tasted like any Pace-type salsa and the queso was watered down and didn't have any flavor. I saw another guest return her steak salad. My friend ordered a Bloody... As a bar only, this would be 4- or 5-star. The staff is excellent, very helpful, and the variety/quality of libations is also excellent (the black & tan was poured perfectly, so the Guinness lasts until the final drop--that's an art). If you're looking for a good bar with decent food and decent happy hour menu, this is a good... More

It's a bar with bar food. Not particularly great but acceptable. A large menu with limited food options - at least they really do try hard.

Excellent food, but the main asset of this bar are it's staff. They take time to talk to you & friendly beyond believe. If Logan or Katie serve you then you have hit the jackpot as they go the extra mile to give you a memorable time. I travel the world on a weekly basis & have to eat out... More
