We ate here for breakfast while traveling. We just happened to find it while browing through a restaurant app, and I'm so glad that we did! The buffet is huge, with just about everything you could want for breakfast on it. You can also order special pancakes if you don't want the regular pancakes that are on the buffet (such... More

We're so glad you joined us for breakfast and enjoyed our buffet. We agree the driveway at our Troutville location can be a little tricky to find tucked behind the gas station entrance, but we're certainly happy you figured it out. It's much easier on your second visit! We look forward to starting our day with you again soon when... More

My older parents liked it, but the food was a bit un-exciting for me. The sides, salad, and dessert buffet was so-so. The locals must love it because is was packed.

Waitress was very pleasant and checked back often. The buffet is expansive: hot soup, salads, veggies, desert and soft ice cream.Lots of choices and reasonably priced. The chopped sirloin was excellent as well as liver and onions. The entrees are priced about $10 each and includes the salad bar and desert bar. Good food and very crowded.

Close to the hotel we were staying in. The buffet has a very large selection. The food for the most part was good. Some items were cold ie. french toast at 7:30am. The servers and workers were very nice.

Where do I start? I routinely try to love Country Cookin. Here is why: 1) The people that work there are very friendly and most have worked there for years. 2) The people that work there are locals, they know your name, and vice versa. VERY friendly atmosphere. 3) I love the concept of ordering an entree and helping myself... More

Not bad for a quick stop. Cheap, and lots of carbs! If you have not been before ..here is the routine, There is a very good buffet for $7.49. All kinds of salad stuff, vegetables, cottage cheese, canned fruits, desserts, soft serve ice cream machine, etc. For another dollar or two you can order separately a main entree. This comes... I had eaten here years ago when traveling south, in the days before Cracker Barrel and knowing about other local options. The menu now is mostly pub food with no bisquits, greens, okra, or fried chicken. The menu items are heavy on starch. The wait staff was very nice, but I waiting a good while to pay my check with... Like to support non-chain restaurants, and the location sure is convenient right off the interstate for travelers. The food was just average, not fresh, treated like it's right off the Cisco truck just like shoney's or anywhere similar. Would probably not visit again.

Ate there last night! Eat here with family, usually, and always enjoy the choices of food. The salad bar is a meal in itself. Great for kids with their hot bar, salad and desserts. Prices are great for the value and choices.
