Dinner with friends

The food and service were both excellent. This was our second time dining at Vintage Tavern and we will definitely return. Dinner can be pricey - 2 meals with a bottle of wine is over $100, but I prefer the Tavern to a Ruth's Chris or similar restaurant! Our group was the last party to leave the... read more

This was a very delightful dinner party. My husband and I attended his company's Christmas party and had a wonderful experience. It was my second time here and my husband's first. We did not order from the bar, but the wine was very good. My husband had the oyster stew and said it was some of the best he has... More

We enjoyed meeting with Marc at this beautiful venue. The food is exceptional. The staff were wonderful. We all enjoyed our entrees. The presentation of the food is perfect. We will gladly return to one of Suffolk's premiere restaurants.

OK, it can't compare to the Waves at Cane Bay in St. Croix, but dang, it's close! The local farm to table concept and the preparation that Kenny is doing as executive chef is simply fabulous! While it may be the same food, the preparation is different week to week and it is incredible each time. The atmosphere is wonderful... More

Our birthday group of eight dined in this highly touted “Seasonally Southern” restaurant on a Sunday evening. It was my first visit here. The restaurant is very richly decorated with taxidermist presented animals, fish, and photographs and paintings, almost like a hunting lodge. There is a nice relaxing fireplace. The menu has about 9 entrees, either meats or seafood. In... More

This restaurant never disappoints! We always sit in the bar area because we love the 'lodge' atmosphere. Service, Staff, Food, and Atmosphere are always an A+! Keep doing what you do, Vintage Tavern.

What a quaint niche restaurant in Suffolk! Came in with friends after walking the Smithfield Christmas Market. It was a later reservation and I'm somewhat (nah!) embarrassed to say we shut the place down while the boys smoked their cigars near the firepit on the patio. (loved it!) Really great menu. We started off with the Taste of Southern Goodness,... More

I first visited this restaurant in 2007, shortly after it opened. It was a tremendous experience at that time. I just returned to the area and suggested I meet my life-long buddy there for dinner. Another tremendous experience. It's unusual for a local restaurant to keep up this 5-star level of quality and service for such a long time. But... More

Favorite spot for my wife and I. We actually enjoy eating in the bar area better because the menu selection is more my speed.
