Thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine -- selections included Penne ala Vodka, Lasagna and Manicotti; all were well prepared & presented. Wait staff was quick, knowledgeable and courteous

Let's start with the service... Missy was an excellent server. She made good suggestions, she was fast and very patient as we surfed the menu. I wish other restaurants had Missy. Now for the food ... my husband had the spaghetti & meatballs. He said it was OK, but nothing compared to what he had in Youngstown, OH. The salad... More

They have a reasonably priced lunch special menu for $7.99 and you have your choice of subs with a side (house chips are tasty) or a lunch size pasta and salad. But every time I go I cannot resist the warm goat cheese appetizer with good bread, provided where you can add roasted garlic, sweet sauted onions, olives and red... More

The food and atmosphere was terrific and the price very reasonable. The dirty chips were out of this world but make sure you save room for the pizza.

The patio, was perfect with a cool 80 degree temp! The appetizer was perfect! My salmon dish, amazing combination of flavors. Needless to say, I carried home no left overs, because my plate was cleaned, by me, and nibbles from other plate holders! :-) our Server Breanna Black, will keep is coming back, regularly! My only regret, is not trying... More

Little by little, downtown Suffolk is being revitalized with yet another good restaurant, Amicis Pizza Café located in an old storefront on East Washington Street. The menu is definitely Italian, but there are occasional doses of Cajun too. On a Friday night we had a 15-minute wait, and people kept coming. There is a small space for outdoor dining; inside... Visited Amici's for the first & last time with friends. Drinks were served expeditiously; however, service was slower and slower as the night progressed. 45 min for order to arrive and over an hour for check to be brought to table incorrect. On top of all of this the waitress who wasn't assigned to us and offered no assistance, actually... More

Loved the atmosphere. Our server was friendly and patient. The pizza was delicious. We normally go to Y'not in Downtown Norfolk from Suffolk for a enjoyable family dine out pizza experiance. Now we have an alternative that matches, if not surpasses our normal.

Amicis has a woodburning oven that makes great pizzas. Their salads- especially the Chopped and Wedge are huge and delicious. Lunch menu is great as well and they do take out. Kids welcome!
