This will be a fun stop for you

Here we were hungry and passing through the tiny town of Strasburg. We couldn't find any place to eat until a local construction person pointed us a block off the main road to the Strasburg Hotel. We were dubious when we saw the old Victorian building, but the next trip through Virginia we'll be... read more

The downpour having put an early ens to May Fest, we decided to whet our whistle at the Depot Lounge. When we arrived the room was sparsely occupied, but by the time our Depot Sampler minus the Chicken tenders, and Mozzarelli Cheese sticks arrived it was filled to almost overflowing. Our bartender was doing triple duty. The menu is very large... More

We ate at the pub on our way back through town yesterday. We had stayed overnight in the hotel the night before and we were so impressed with the staff that we wanted to try the restaurant. Simple but yummy, and the wait staff was just attentive enough without being overbearing.

Nice fun atmosphere, great food-had shrimp risotto and a chicken dish. Bartender and other patrons all very friendly. Nice town.

The Sunday Brunch sure is fantastic. The juice is freshly squeezed, a good selection of bakery and tea, great fruit salad. Real food makes real great meals!

There was nothing awful about the hotel - but nothing all that great either. With the Groupon voucher, it cost about $110. Room wasn't that big, but it was big enough. The staff was nice, but I advised when I reserved (granted only 2 days before) that we were newlyweds and they did nothing for us. The bed was comfortable... More

I have eaten here over the years a couple times and enjoyed it. However it doesn't pop into my head often as a go to place all the time. Today we were through Strasburg and decided to try it again. We live not too far from the town. We eat out a LOT. Today after my husband had a cup... More

We ate from the "pub" menu at Hotel Strasburg because we wanted something lighter than what was on the hotel's main menu. I have to say, the portions of the 'light' menu were more than ample, and freshly prepared. Good selection of wine and other alcohol at the bar, only to be topped off with friendly service--all at a great... More

Very good traditional. It was the best cream of peanut soup I've ever had! There was light and dark turkey, a really good sweet ham, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes cubes with pineapple and a little toasted marshmallows on top, wild rice with sausage and fennel, turkey gravy, chilled salmon, salad, rolls, green bean casserole, corn pudding that mostly corn,...
