Love Taste of Burma and we eat here at lease once a week. The depth and intensity of the flavors is truly amazing. Our favorites are samosas and harvest spring rolls to start, chile chicken and Mongolian beef (the BEST) and you have to get a side of the coconut rice to go with.

Very good selection and very tasty food. Service was a bit slow, small family run restaurant, pretty good selection of beer.

I was in the area for vacation and decided to go for dinner with the family at this joint; the food was very good! My favorite was their 'Crispy Bean Sprout and Shrimp' appetizer, you must try it! We also ordered three different main entrees so we could have a true taste of their food; the Pork and Mango was... More

I only wish we lived closer so we could come more often! This is a favorite restaurant for special occasion dinners, but we also go if we happen to be in the neighborhood. They have a spicy hot and sour lemongrass chicken soup that is umami to the max, an intense assault that your taste buds will thank you for.... More

Taste of Burma is a local treasure. I'm no expert on Burmese food, but I have enjoyed dinner there several times. Extensive menu, many choices. Pleasant service in a nice environment.

I've been here many times and had a range of dishes. I've never been disappointed in the food. The fermented tea leaf salad is always a must. My vegetarian friend (who drives to Sterling from DC just for this restaurant) adores the tofu pickled mustard green. The street chai is also a must. The dinner portions are good-sized (I almost... Having been to Burma twice, I was craving real Burmese food. This place does not disappoint. The fermented tea salad was excellent. Had the Chicken with mango. Very nice. The decor was quite familiar. The owner and I had a nice chat about Burma. Unlike other reviewers, the service seemed fine to me.

As an aficionado of all things Burmese, I have always found A Taste of Burma to be among the more authentic Burmese eateries in the DC area. The place itself is very nicely decorated, with lovely traditional crafts on display in a tasteful manner. As for food, I always recommend the fermented green tea salad and the ginger salad as...
