Nice find in a tucked-away location

A small place tucked away between an Western Union and a laundry in a strip-mall... easily passed up. Visited twice; dine in and carry-out. Service and food experience was different for each. Dine-in service is leisurely, but the food is quite good. Found the portions adequate and the food seasoned just right…not too spicy, not bland. Atmoshere was quiet and... More

We stayed at a hotel near Dulles airport and this was on the local restaurant list. We decided to try it and consider it a great choice. My wife had Shrimp Pad Thai and I had the Green Curry (Beef).. The Pad Thai had seven nice sized shrimp in a large bowl/plate of typical Pad Thai that was very well... More

Was in the area for a week long class. A classmate recommended the place. I love Thai food and decided I would order takeout appetizers for lunch. I ordered spring rolls and the fried shrimp w/ veggies, potatoes etc.. The shrimp were edible but the rest of it tasted like they were old veggies sitting around and someone dumped a... More

My boyfriend and I frequent this cute spot. They have good service and the food is the best Thai in Sterling, VA. They also deliver, but we usually choose to dine in. It is well priced and the portions are large so we usually end up having the leftovers to take home. Try it out!

This Thai food place has the best Tom Kai Gai soup & the best Chicken drunken noodles in town. Also go for the Pad Thai, the Green curry with chicken & some Thai ice tea! Great place to take a date or the whole family! My kids like the chicken satay with a side of rice!

I bought takeout the other day from Pattaya Thai. I ordered Cashew Chicken. The chicken and vegetables were swimming in a bath of grease and oil. It is absolutely noting like what I have experienced in other Thai Restaurants. Pattaya Thai is to Thai Cuisine what Panda Express is to Chinese Cuisine. Overall: Tasteless, greasy, and one of the worse... More

Highly impressed with this one based on previous reviews. The food was outstanding, served hot and very quickly. Far better that any other Thai place I've been throughout my travels. Hope to be able to come back here!

This small restaurant is located in a shopping center that is half vacant but, don't be deterred, it's worth a visit. I ordered Pad Thai with beef, for $9.95 I got a large plate that I couldn't finish. Flavorful without being too spicy.

I hate to dissent from all the positive reviews. Our view may be tainted by the fact that about three weeks earlier we’d visited our favorite Thai restaurant, Koh Tomyums in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. By contrast, our meal at Pattaya Thai was disappointing. The shrimp cake was mushy inside, not springy. The missus’ green curry was watery. Worse, she... More

We have been to Pattaya about a dozen times now and each time the food is consistently good. The tofu/bean sprouts is one of my favorite and the other is Pattaya Tilapia. Service is consistently good too. I would recommend it to all Thai food lovers.
