We went to Sweetwater for late lunch/early dinner after a round of golf. The place was almost empty so service was fabulous. As always the beer sampler allowed us to home in on the best brew to go with our meals. Starter was the crab fritters - a wonderful, light and tasty appetizer. Definitely a keeper.

Excellent food and service. My first visit and won't be my last, hope to return when back in the area. Steak was great, fresh salad and appetizers. Generous portions and good service. Loved the donut hole bites, those are addicting.

I've been to this place three times. There is a little pond next to the restaurant. It's good to walk along after stuffing myself. Atmosphere and view are good. Not every food we had was great.Ribs were really good, but crab cake was salty and hamburger wasn't good either. I don't remember what others had. I still have the feeling... More

High quality, premium and local ingredients. Great for business and special/romantic dinners. Upscale, fun bar. Walk to Hyatt Place.

Sweetwater doesn't disappoint. For special occasions, casual lunches, date nights (first date here with my husband!), anytime -- been coming here with my family since it opened when I was in high school! I always start with the Best Buns bread (donut holes are irresistible), followed by the chophouse salad (I love the corn and fresh basil). Then the wood-grilled... More

We're frequent diners at the local Sterling Sweetwater and other "Great American Restaurants" in the Northern Virginia area. And, we often choose the "special seafood" offering based on the fish and it's preparation. I did that today. It was soooo delicious, I did it TWICE. Yes, I had two of the "Hickory grilled, wild caught, fresh King Salmon served over... More

Meals and service may be better in Hong Kong, but not by much. When you add price and value, you will not find superior food at any location. I dine here at least 8-10 times yearly and have never had an average meal. The place is spotless and the staff meets the same standard. The ONLY negative is the waiting... More

Whether I'm by myself or with a friend the atmosphere in the bar area is always cool. I do not have a favorite beer but pretty jump around the brews depending on my mood. I am partial to the jumblelaya, spinach dip and wings for food. The jumblelaya has a nice kick. Technically I have not used a table in... More

Went there twice on a four day stay in Sterling. The hamburgers, the Salads and the ambiance brought us back the second time. Very nice to place to go for a drink out back overlooking a small pond. Not a cookie cutter restaurant - very unique. The service was as good as the food.

I had the fish special which was grouper over spinach and a sauce. The grouper was grilled and over cooked making it very dry. However the spinach and sauce were great. The beer of course remains great.
