Good Home Cooking

Had not been to this place for about 10 years, but I never forgot it. Do not get this area often so today I planned a stop to check it out. WOW! Just as good as I remember. I got Chuck Wagon steak w/potatoes, spoon bread + salad. My husband got meatloaf w/potato salad, rolls + collard greens... read more

We always stay at the Best Western that shares a parking lot when we travel down South, but this was the first time we got in with enough time to try Mrs. Rowe's (they close at 8PM and I hate being that person that goes in right before closing). I was worried because it also happened to be Valentine's Day... More

Excellent and very inexpensive fare. Hardy stuff. The pies are to die for. Wonderful service. We had the place recommended by the hotel just across the road, so no need for long trip for great food. Not a chain, by the way.

Relied on reviews but was very disappointed. The service was slow, the food was barely warm and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant .

If you want a regular home cooked meal, then this your place, friendly staff and service was as expected - good place to sit down and relax for a hot meal

We came here to book a group of 50. We have been here before and the first time it was wonderful, the second time was not as great and today it was terrible. As a result of our experience we booked elsewhere. The food was inedible. My wife had the meat loaf sandwich, which she had last time and it... More

Love this restaurant. This is our stop off for gas and food when traveling up and down 81. It's at exit 222. We have never had a breakfast we didn't like, and the service is wonderful. This is a great mom and pop place. We found it by accident when traveling one day and I was so hungry I ate... More

Mrs. Rowe's has been serving food to the public since 1947 or thereabouts. We discovered Mrs. Rowe's in 1993 and it was one of those places we went for Sunday brunch, or a nice family dinner out. The food was always very good, and even when busy, the service was friendly and efficient. Mrs. Rowe, herself although quite elderly was... More

While traveling with my team in this market we had a recommendation to try this place for lunch. Happy we did. I had the meatloaf and potatoes. Real good. Slaw was average. One of the people with me had a rueben and another had the chili and both loved it. Dessert was homemade. Everyone was very polite. Will visit again... More

this was a nice place to eat. We had breakfast twice and it was good. The homemade cinnamon buns are delicious, but you better get them early.
