Loved this place! My family of 4 ate here after spending the morning at the Frontier Culture Museum... I was in the mood for something traditional but that I don't normally eat... I had the turkey sandwich... Oh my it was sooo good! Mashed potatoes came with too, and the gravy and potatoes just... read more

We always stop for pie. The meatloaf was okay and my wife said the fried chicken was delicious. We both had the cherry pie. It was great. The service was a bit slow, but they did have a bus in.

Stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Pancakes were a bit dried out or hard. French toast was plain Jane. For $24.00 sort of expensive we thought

Food just ok except for the spoonbread which was very good also the fried green tomatoes. My wife had oysters (overcooked) and fries (not home made). My biggest problem was that I had to look at a really dirty floor, with french fries scattered around the table next to us and other stuff, not sure I want to know. I... More

I know a lot of people who just rave about Mrs. Rowe's. However, both times I've eaten there, I have felt it was just "okay." Maybe this is because I cook from scratch all the time and many of their signature dishes (fried chicken, country fried steak and gravy with green beans, pies and cakes) I like my own a... More

If I could get fat eating this food every day and then die of a heart attack it would so be worth it! Best food within 50 miles!

Better than fast food but not as good as mama's cooking. Sweetened cornbread is not authentically southern. Did not try the desserts, though they looked good!

Home cooking was just what we needed after being on the road for some time. The food was delicious and the service was great. It's nice place, very homey.

Delicious home cooking and great variety. Went for breakfast this time and the bacon and biscuits were wonderful. Brought home a frozen container of their stewed tomatoes and their famous pork loin as well as a pie, since their are fantastic.

We arrived at Mrs. Rowe's on a Friday at 5pm. They did not have the Friday meatloaf special my husband was craving so badly. He was extremely let down. He opted for stuffed bell peppers which tasted just like his mother made, so all played out well in the end. This is a no frills diner and down home cooking.
