Sunday supper without a piece of pie from this place, would be grounds for going back to church and starting the day all over again, even if it means sitting through a very, very, long sermon. Food was great, price was right, service was friendly to us and the folks sitting around us. sag0908 said it right…."what a restaurant should... More

We stopped off the highway to grab gas and found this great restaurant. Food was good and wait staff was friendly. Wife grabbed a slice of pie for the road and I must say I was jealous.

The first thing that you notice is there isn't a list of appetizers! It's an old fashion restaurant! They offer home cooked meals at a very reasonable price. The pies are to die for!! A must stop if your in the area!

Lady behind the cash register was cold and rather rude when we entered. The server was pleasant, but disappeared until she brought the check. Expensive small glasses for fountain drinks and no refills. My husband and I order the stuffed chicken breast which was extremely overcooked covered in a gelatinous gravy that was from a mix. The greens were terrible,... More

While paying for dinner I made Mention jokingly about running out of lemon meringue pies and that it was terrible because I really wanted one. The cashier responded with "well we have been really busy we can't keep them all" very hateful. I love stopping here but will not again

Mrs. Rowe's Restaurant was a disappointment. While the service was reasonable and rapid, the food was ordinary. The chicken and dumplings was nothing like what I expected. The Cobb salad was ordinary and lacked one of the advertised ingredients. The room was populated by senior citizens; no families with young children. The best can that be said is the dinner... More

After driving the day in Shenandoah NP, we found ourselves in a Best Western near the highway. We ended up lucking out because next door is classic southern restaurant. Having lima beans and stewed tomatoes brought back nice memories of my childhood. The friend chicken is pretty good too.

After reading many unflattering reviews, we stopped for Lunch. I had the Liver and onions with collard greens and Mac&cheese as sides. All done correctly and very tasty. Banana cream pudding was outstanding. We will stop on the return trip.
