Delicious and home cooked!

went to Mrs. Rowe's for lunch and had a turkey reuben. Made with real turkey, not deli sliced. Served on rye bread that was on the small side, but good. Fries and pickle came with it. Many choices for pies for dessert. I had pecan. Delicious and ample serving. If you didn't want a pie, you could... read more

My husband and I had dinner at Mrs. Rowe's Restaurant while staying for one night nearby. We enjoyed our meal. I had the turkey and dressing, mac and cheese and collards. The turkey was very tender. There seemed to be a crowd as we passed by at lunch. We arrived early for our dinner and were so glad we did.... More

the meal was comfort food--hot and delicious. The staff was very nice. But oh the desserts, you must try the peanut butter pie!

Mrs Rowes has been in existence for decades and provides good food at a reasonable price. They are best known for their pies and baked goods. Patrons order whole pies to take home. They are licensed but have a limited wine and beer selection.

Stopped on a whim, during a trip to Washington, DC. The grandchildren want to play in the snow in the parking lot. The food was very good "home cooking" and the service was excellent. Would definitely stop again.

I dropped in for lunch, but was in a hurry. Hence, I had pie, ice cream, and coffee. I didn't like the coffee. The other things were good. I should have ordered a real lunch as the other people at tables near me were served quickly, and their food sure looked good.

Stayed next door at BW and walked over for dinner. Got right in and had great service. Ordered the daily special and it was just as expected .... as good as my Mom used to make! Couldn't have dessert because I was too full but took a piece of coconut cream pie back to the hotel for a delicious late... More

This place came highly recommended but we felt like a number in this ship em in, ship em out place just off the highway. Maybe the location churns a steady flow of folks into the place but we felt like our table was in demand for others as we are and the waitress couldn't care less to move us along... More

Had not been to this place for about 10 years, but I never forgot it. Do not get this area often so today I planned a stop to check it out. WOW! Just as good as I remember. I got Chuck Wagon steak w/potatoes, spoon bread + salad. My husband got meatloaf w/potato salad, rolls + collard greens. We CLEANED... More
