Very good! we went to Kathy's while we had stopped over on our way through. It was simple, delicious good and you can't beat the prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband wishes he had gotten more food to go!

The crabcake sandwich was wonderful! I should have just ordered that. I asked if I could substitute the fries that came with it for a side salad. I was told yes but was not informed it would cost me $3.75 extra. I would be fine with that if the salad had been good. It was very small and only had... More

We wanted a good breakfast as we were HUNGRy. We stopped at Kathy's where it was semi busy at 7:30 am on a Friday. We were seated immediately, brought coffee immediately (in a good ceramic cup and hot and refilled repeatedly without having to ask). I got the full order of biscuits and sausage gravy. A good amount of good... More

We took our 6 kids for breakfast. They licked their plates clean and said " Thank you Kathy!" We got omelettes and pancakes- fabulous. Bacon pancakes were really good- as were the blueberry. We left for about $95... Including tip and a pancake mix... Awesome-

We often go to Kathy's when in this part of Staunton. Can have breakfast no matter what part of the day. The food is simple and plain. No surprises. Today I chose one of their specials. A quarter of chicken with potato salad and mac & cheese. The chicken was moist and tasty without being heavily fried. Very satisfying.

Looked online for a good place for breakfast while I was traveling in the area. This was recommended is one of the best. I was not disappointed. Lots of regulars and the parking lot was full. The country ham was huge. Not the cheapest breakfast for country ham but was very good value.

Even though they're known for their breakfast, we stopped for dinner. A good hometown restaurant with friendly, happy staff and generous portions. And yes, there really is a Kathy! Rascal Pants

This is supposed to be a great place for breakfast. We thought we would try it out the night before for dinner and then, if good, go in the morning. First, no alchohol, then unimaginative food, tough steak, you get the picture. don't know about the breakfast, but I wouldn't go back.

This nice restaurant is quaintly decorated and to see the interior isbworth the visit. It is the local hang out for the professional retirees. Th Service was impeccable and prompt. My strawberry Belgium waffle was tasty even though the strawberries were frozen. Try it you will like it. :).

We actually stopped by here twice during our weekend stay in Staunton. Late lunch or early dinner. The service was great, very friendly and prompt. MDP got the fish platter on special and couldn't eat all of it. I got a sandwich/salad and was very happy. Being close to Easter they had homemade peanut butter covered in chocolate Easter eggs...the... More
