Really nice atmosphere in this tiny restaurant. Great for couples. They had nice music on Thursday night and apparently that is recurring. Some of the tapas were good and very reasonably priced. The mussels and scallops were very good as was the bread. We also got a tart, the sausage, and charcuterie which were good but not great. The one... More

Aioli's food is beautiful as well as delicious, visually like nouvelle cuisine but with larger portions. The dining room is small but elegant, decorated with lovely paintings by local artists, and it has a beautiful bar. Service is excellent if occasionally a little slow, but they will ask when you make reservations if you are on a tight schedule. Reservations... More

We were so tired from a long car trip and just needed to relax, and we were delighted with our server, Stephanie. She seemed to be able to anticipate just what we were about to request. The food was very good, and the wine and cocktails excellent. We recommend the lamb especially. Overall a wonderful experience.

Exactly the kind of place I was looking for, and expected to find in Staunton. I walked around for a while, not sure of what I wanted to eat. The town has a large and varied selection of places to eat (especially for such a small town). It's off Main st. and not much to look at from the outside,... More

Have a variety of small dishes, tapas, or one wonderful entree. The grilled salmon had a superb sauce and citrus garnish. The food and decor are great. The only negative is a very high noise level. I would definitely recommend this spot for a wonderful meal

Outstanding food and amazing service. Smallish selection of tapas, but all we tried were very good. Madeline, our server, should be held as THE example of how to be an amazing server at a higher-end establishment. Attentive but not intrusive and a perfect attention to detail. When we go back, we will request her for certain. As to the food,... More

Our party of 4 was seated in the back room which is really cut off from the rest of the restaurant. There was one other couple seated in the corner. It just felt very sterile. We ordered several dishes from the tapas side of the menu. The bread we ordered came within 10 minutes but the rest of our tapas took... More

We stayed in a b&b room above this and immediately upon arrival our innkeeper said "you're sleeping above the best restaurant in Staunton" and she was right! Some of the best crab cakes I've ever eaten & certainly didn't expect great seafood so far from the coast. We all just stared at our plates for a minute because they were... More

I was traveling through and wanted a great meal. Not having made a reservation, I got seated at the bar. Stephanie took great care of me. I got the bruschetta trio, mixed green salad and chocolate mousse. It was all fantastic. The atmosphere was great. I love to eat at a place where people really enjoy taking care of their... More
