Although we had to wait for an outdoor table, it was worth it! The food was very good-- my daughter had carnitas, I had a burger. And, we really enjoyed having a drink and waiting inside the old warehouse turned restaurant.

Thank you very much for the pleasant review of our restaurant. The outdoor patio seating is always a popular spot. The history of the Wharf buildings in Staunton's downtown area is very unique and historic. We look forward to entertaining you again when you return. Thank you again. Shane Kouchinsky Asst. We stopped in for lunch and had a variety of sandwiches. Everything was good, the staff was friendly and the service was good. They have a good selection of local craft beers and were willing to let us sample them before we ordered. The location is great right in the heart of the downtown area and close to the breweries... Really good food and very good service. I would definitely recommend the pizza, the hush puppies too. Would definitely go back if I'm in town visiting.

Byers Street Bistro offers a variety of dining options in one setting. At the ground floor, it's a pub setting, with occasional live music. Upstairs is rustic but pleasant atmosphere, with good views of the town for those seated near the windows. And if the weather's right, you can dine outdoors on the patio. The food selection have broadened considerably... More

Excellent choice while traveling on I-81. Based on the previous reviews we decided to wander into town and find the Bistro. The lunch menu is diverse with interesting creations that have unique flavor combinations. The table had a Salmon Burger with pineapple salsa and a collard green pesto (a special on the day of dining). From the menu we ordered... More

While walking around and taking in the sights of Staunton, we stopped at Byers Street Bistro for lunch. We sat inside as the outdoor seating was full. We chose to sit upstairs by the windows which was nice. We had sandwiches and drinks. Service was great and we enjoyed our lunch.

We stopped for a quick lunch, but had trouble finding a place to park. Across the street we had to pay to park. The waitress was pleasant and seated us immediately. The menu had a good selection. I ordered the smoked turkey with crab dressing on a croissant, and my partner ordered the spinach salad. After a while the waitress... More

I stopped here for lunch with my dad and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The fried green tomato sandwich was phenomenal and my dad really liked his burger too. I also got a sampler of local beers which was tasty. Definitely will come back when we're in town. Very quick, friendly and responsive service too.
