Be sure to stop in for lunch and step back in time. If you love desserts, check out the homemade pies on the antique oak buffet in the back of the restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

We were just passing through and stopped here for breakfast. Very tasty! Doesn't look like much from the outside but well worth the visit.

Staunton is a stopover for us when traveling. We found The Beverly in 2013, and have had breakfast there several times since. Today I ate an omelet with 3 add ins. It was <$6. Aside from the value, the food was excellent, including the home made bread toasted. The service is excellent.

Great omelet with a side order of home fries. Nice basic solid breakfast. Biscuits came with packaged blackberry jelly and a scoop of strawberry jam.

The wine queen and I needed a good, quick place for a reasonable breakfast prior to a funeral in the area on a Saturday AM. She had scoped out the Beverley before our arrival, so we made our way there. Arrived at 0810. We were the first people there. But within minutes, the locals showed up enmasse' and took up... More

We stopped in for a late breakfast and an early lunch and we were not disappointed. We snacked on delicious, homemade blueberry muffins while we were waiting for the food. The 86 year owner stopped to greet us and to share stories about the local history before our meal arrived. I enjoyed a bowl of Lima bean soup that was... More

Try to meet the eighty year-old proprietor. You'll laugh your a - - off. Only she'll use that word. And the food is pretty good too!

We have returned to this restaurant while on a ski vacation at Wintergreen. It is a great experience to spend some time talking to the owner hearing her stories (she is on her 80s but her mind is as fresh as of a teenager). The food is good old fashioned country style and tastes very good. The portions are on... More

Do Not Ask for Extra Condiments!!!! Especially with To-Go-Orders I was looking forward to trying out something new for lunch. I work close to Downtown Staunton and usually grab lunch to take back to the office several times a week. I ordered my lunch to go before arriving at the restaurant, a sandwich and side of onion rings. As I... More

Prices were reasonable and the food we had (breakfast) was very tasty and we thought was home-cooked. Service was a little slow but they were busy the day we were there.
