If you want a quaint atmosphere for lunch with the ladies or your co-workers or even your current flame, the Pampered Palate is the place. They almost always feature a Virginia wine for the affordable price of $5 a glass; this is a plus to a Virginia wine lover like myself who wants to drink local. The quiche is delicate... More

We were just a bit disappointed with Staunton as a whole so I think that put a damper on enjoying our lunch here. It was good but nothing exceptional any my husband thought the portions were small for the price.

Was walking through downtown and came across the Pampered Palate. I ended up having a great salad. The server was real nice.

Fresh ingredients made for an excellent sandwich. Really like the option of fresh fruit as opposed to blah chips.

My husband and I decided to visit Staunton, Virginia again after our January 2013 visit. In 2013 we ate at the Pampered Palate Café and it was great so we decided to try it again Feb. 2014. We were not disappointed! We ate upstairs as the downstairs was almost full. I had the special which was Quiche Lorraine with a... More

This is conveniently located in the downtown area, so we ate lunch there and then browsed at some of the local shops. The restaurant has a very good menu selection, from sandwiches to salads, desserts, etc. My husband and I both enjoyed what we ordered, and it also seems to be a local favorite (always a good sign!). Our waitress... More

My husband and I were on the look out for a local sandwich shop for lunch while passing through the Staunton area. We couldn't have asked for a better place to end up! The Pampered Palate Cafe is steeped in history, making the experience that much more interesting. The house the restaurant is in was built circa 1840, eventually becoming... More

Two couples had lunch there on October 29. We all agreed that everything was perfect for us at the time. We all had sandwiches of one form or another, and all four were very well pleased with the result. The interior and seating are casual. The service was perfect.

This is a small but charming cafe with friendly service and delicious desserts. The Coffee could be stronger.
