Service and food a plus, cigarette smell a negative

Since I am allergic to tomatoes my husband likes to get his Italian sauce any time he can. Went here and they had a good variety on the menu from appetizers, salad, anti pasti, pasta, and secondi. We had lunch at this restaurant in December. The service was prompt, courteous and helpful with suggestions. The minestrone soup was tasty but served lukewarm. The main entrees were very good - pollo picata, pollo repiene, and salmon with pasta. The desert, an ice cream cake was excellent. When we return to Staunton next summer, we plan to have dinner... We just had a fabulous dinner at the end of a long day of travel. The atmosphere was perfect, we could speak to one another in normal tones and still hear what was said. Our server was terrific, very attentive without hovering and made some great wine suggestions. We started with a good calamari and incredible house made mozzarella sticks...sooo... More

We had a fantastic dinner here, with great food and attentive service. Probably best for special occasions, as it's a little more expensive than other restaurants. Good atmosphere, conducive to talking with your dinner partner! Great lemon chicken. We also visited for one of their dinner sampler evenings and would recommend that as a good introduction to the restaurant.

Love this place. Caeser for me; cream of mushroom soup for my husband. Veal Picatta w/side of pasta for me. Antipasti platter for my husband. Chamay beer for my husband and chardonnay for me. Chocolate thunder cake for me; cannoli for Bob. Great service. and atmosphere. Wished we lived closer.

Part of a group of 25. Made reservations weeks in advance. We were served our meals almost 2 hours later. The fun was long gone. The wait staff were completely unconcerned and didn't check about drink refills and my tea was without ice. So at that point, I completely gave up. The lasagna was nothing special or particularity tasty. The... More

We visited Emilios on a Saturday night. It was exceptionally busy because of a cycling event in the town that weekend. The maitre'd who I assumed was owner was busy trying to accommodate everybody who came in and whilst we had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated we eventually were. The menu and wine list was good... More

while visiting the area we had lunch at Emilio's and were treated like special folks. The food was great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was spot on. Staff were helpful in suggesting places to see in the city of Staunton. Worth your time and you won't regret it.

Emilios is Incredible! Excellent food and drinks. Once a month or so, they host a food and wine pairing. Check the website. The food and wine pairings are excellent ! Do not miss this treat

Who would have thought you would find a first-rate Italian restaurant in Staunton, Virginia. This is an exceptionally good place. It is charming, nicely appointed, and most important, the food is fabulous. My wife and I have been here several times, and the food is consistently impressive. Prices are moderate.
