Definitely get the cheesy breadsticks. We had the Woodrow pizza and it was excellent! The place was crowded and pretty loud, especially with unusual music playing through what looked like inadequate speakers. It was also a little slow, which was somewhat understandable because of the crowd. We will target less busy times for future visits...and we will go back!

I recently had dinner with a group of friends and we had a terrible experience at Shenandoah Pizza. When we arrived, we were sent to the top of the stairs to a balcony-like area that was intensely hot! The server came to take our drink orders and when I gave my beer order (which was a German name) she said,... More

We met up with a group of friends for a weekend in Staunton and decided to give Shenandoah a try. I was a little hesitant after reading previous reviews, but had no complaints. I can't say that I thought the pizza was the best I've ever had, but it was certainly worth the price, and our server was very attentive.... More

This place has amazing food and the staff is very nice! Our service was excellent and the manager even came outside to say hello and play with our two dogs. The restaurant is in the beautiful historic district of Staunton and the restaurant itself is a beautiful historical building with warm, inviting details. I highly recommend this place!

Okay, I didn't actually eat at the Shenandoah Pizza place. I was waiting to pick up some of our group after a play and I needed, uh, the facilities.... I stopped in and asked if they'd let me. I expected a negative reply. I understand that restaurants don't want various and sundry folks wandering in just to mess up their... More

If this review was just about the food, it would be a 5 star. Unfortunately, the service tarnished the experience. When we first entered, we waited a bit before anyone acknowledged us, and when they did, I didn't think they actually worked there. The kid looked like he just rolled out of bed with messy hair, un-tucked shirt, and baggy... More

My wife and I had dinner here on Friday night. Nice little downtown pizza place. A lot of the menu items are named after local places around Staunton. We had the small cheese bread (sticks) and a large Statler pizza. Which had Italian sausage, bacon and red onion. Everything was good. The girl who waited on us was busy but... More

They serve good pizza with a lovely, crisp crust. Their pepperoni is delicious! There's a pretty good wine list.

The first clue was when my wife's coffee arrived thick as molasses in a mug with a big chip in it. We then waited an hour for our pizza. After the hour, the waiter came and put our plates and silverware on the table saying the pizza was almost ready. Then after ten more minutes he came back to tell... More

I read the tripadvisor reviews. It sounded like it was a restaurant that was pretty variable, but I was hoping to like the restaurant so we went. This was my worst ever dining experience. I was dining with my family on a Sunday night, came in at 6:45 or maybe a little earlier. You can buy pizza by the slice,... More
