Had a great meal either great beer. Heather is a lovely southern belle at the bar. She gave great recommendations for food and drink. The three brothers brewery beers on tap are awesome. I had the salmon which was great. I also had the corn jalapeño dip as a starter great. Super southern hospitality at a great place.

This was our first time visiting Clocktower. I had the steak and cheese sandwich and it was truly excellent. The atmosphere was nice and calm. The only negative I had with Clocktower was the wait. It was a bit long especially since there was only 2 or 3 other parties in the restaurant. We will go back.

I arrived alone on a lunch break in what was my first visit to Staunton. The restaurant was clearly open for business with one table occupied at 11.35. A very pleasant barista got my libation promptyl after learning that the lemonade tank was empty...slight delay. Curiously, the manager (maybe the owner) brought a bucket of disinfectant/floor wash from behind the... More

We felt the decor was attractive, and the service was prompt and friendly. We especially appreciated the fact that we could actually hear each other speak (i.e., calm atmosphere as opposed to a raucous din). We ordered a chicken panini and a pastrami sandwich (each came with homemade chips, and both were delicious). In fact, we enjoyed the sandwich enough... More

The food was very good there. All of our food came out very well. We were stuff. The service was good. We were help but a few people. Good reommendation if you find yourself downtown at dinnertime. We will go back to this restaurant if we are ever back in the area.

Had lunch with a friend here this week and we both got the Fish and Chips special of the day. The fish was flaky and tender and the home-made chips were delightful. Service was fast and friendly. Good recommendation if you find yourself downtown at lunchtime.

Nice neighborhood kind of restaurant/bar; suitable for families; varied menu; the food was home made and the vegetable medley was all fresh vegetables, and cooked perfectly. Wait staff was exceedingly friendly, and my daughter and I had a very pleasant meal before walking the three blocks over to the American Shakespeare Center for the play last night. All in all... My son & I ate at the Clocktower tonight after reading the reviews. Our meal was absolutely delicious & our service was great too. We had the bourbon sirloin with mashed potatoes & the homemade fettucinne Alfredo with shrimp. I highly recommend this restaurant & will eat there again if I am ever back in the area.

I arrived late in the evening about 45 minutes before closing time and was welcomed inside and not treated like a nuisance for being so late. I narrowed down my entree to two from the menu and on the recommendation of Simon the waiter chose the pork rib eye. It was really moist with a piquant sauce which was very... More

Very cute place in the middle of town, surrounded by antique shops. The server was sweet and very helpful. They specialize in many sandwiches that looked awesome, but we decided on the homemade pasta, which was delicious. We also had the roasted corn soup, that is a must if you are there.
