We stopped for a couple of Americanos, but the food looked so good we ended up having a very tasty lunch.
Had the privilege of eating here during a trip to Staunton for a conference. Great place with lots of character. Had the half sandwich and a cup of soup (Rueben and Mexican Tortilla) which were perfectly prepared. Highly recommend stopping by for a wonderful meal.
I have a cup of coffee before each play I see at the American Shakespeare Center (their performance is far from a bore, I just need to be caffeinated before I sit for 2 hours to watch anything), the theater is next door. Coffee on the Corner is a great place to meet with clients and friends. They have decent WiFi and great coffee. Sandwiches are prepared fresh and the pastries are always good. Service is friendly and prompt. Recommended if you have a few minutes to spare, or are looking for a decent place to sit and visit for a while.
I think my title may be all that has to be said. We love this place and always visit when we are in Staunton. Highly recommend this place. (We had the Italian pannini today and it was delicious!)
Great atmosphere, great lattes, yummy desserts, lots of reading material...if we lived in Staunton we'd be regulars. Amust stop for early theater-goers.
Don't miss these. Great cinnamon buns. Also good latte and black tea. Nice Staff. Also good banana bread and chocolate chip cookies. Right next door to Blackfriars Theatre so good place to stop in before or after. A nice outside area to sit if it's a nice day.
Coffee selection was okay/average, but the service was very slow and unable to handle more than 3 or 4 people at a time without making others wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and then wait even longer. Forget about trying to get a refill if there is anybody in line for the first time. WiFi is only good... More
Pleasant place with very good coffee, sandwiches and sweets. Great for a stop before or after the movie across the street. Nice staff.
