Very good! They are more than willing to let you try the different flavors. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for, worth the money

We stopped in after seeing a play at Blackfriar's. Brisk business even still 10 p.m. On a Wednesday night. Friendly, efficient employees who are quite knowledgeable of the offerings. Everything is made in-house. I can highly recommend the mint strachiatella (like mint chocolate chip), the caramel, the espresso and the chocolate.

Friendly servers...who will give you free tastes of any ice cream (gelato) you want to try. Selection of flavors (always 18 there) changes frequently. I always get the "junior" cup because I don't feel any guilt in going back several times a week....and it is really pretty cheap (like about $3.00) It comes with a triangle of waffle cone on... More

These are the best flavors. The gelato & sorbet are very good. You can get cones, bowls, sundaes & more. Must go when here.

We were visiting Staunton and I was surprised to see that this place was rated #1 by Trip Advisor. We stopped by. This is probably the best gelato I've ever had, and that includes daily gelato in Italy. Very highly recommended! I can vouch for the chocolate, hazelnut, and blackberry/raspberry sorbet. Outstanding!

Good, some very tastee flavors, but a little inconsistent. Comparing the Split Banana it to Splendora in Charlottesville is like Splendora's to Capogiro's in Philly - its sliding scale. The flavors I tried ranged from excellent to okay. The chocolate was super rich - much to my liking but too dry for my wife. The raspberry had an interesting flavor,... More

How can you go wrong with gelato and sherbet in July? Lots of creative flavors-- like pineapple basil-- and a friendly staff despite a line at 10:45 pm!

Stopped in for an afternoon treat (not a category in the TripAdvisor choices) during a road trip. The gelato was excellent and I enjoyed the old time ice cream parlor feel. The prices were much more reasonable than the big ice cream chains.

We made a point to come here after dinner in town following Trip Adviser reviews. We were both happy we did. I liked the Chocolate Ancho (spicy) my wifes favorite was the Hazelnut . Its all little cups of gelato - in all sorts of flavors. We had between the three of us maybe 8 flavors. All were very good,... More

There's a little bit of a wait sometimes but only because it's so good. Would definitely suggest it, it's worth the wait and delicious!
