Yummy!!

We stopped here on the way home from the mountains. My husband and I had reservations at 12:30pm. We were lucky enough to be able to order off the breakfast and the lunch menu. Both were very good, as was th the service.

My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at the Lafayette Inn. Our room was lovely, and so charming. We experienced the 10 course wine pairing, which was amazing. The food was superb, and Alan's selection and explanation of the wines made it that much more enjoyable. We are already planning our next get-away at the Lafayette, and plan... More

First and foremost the food was simply amazing! My husband and I did the 10-course tasting menu and we certainly hope to return and experience the full menu. However we were there in March and the dining room was cold. Several women were rubbing their arms to keep warm. I feel some rugs in the dining room would add a... More

Not something to skip! The 10 course paired chef tasting was wonderful! The southern style cuisine with Alan's own twist was worth the visit. Paired beautifully with a variety of wines and a relaxed atmosphere, it was a fun evening. The Monroe room is tasteful and comfortable. We loved the fireplace too! Breakfast was tasty with French toast, ba one,... More

My wife and I visited for the 10 course tasting dinner with B&B package from Living Social. From the moment of arrival when we were greeted so warmly, and with a complimentary small bottle of champagne and snacks, to leaving this morning after an excellent breakfast served personally by our ever-genial host, this was a marvellous experience which we recommend... The accommodations were amazing. The sheets were soft, fireplace was warm, champagne was a special surprise, the room was clean, jazz music was romantic, and the chef's tasting was delicious. What a full-sensory experience which made it all the more MEMORABLE. Thank you for your warm welcome, hospitality, and devotion to taking care of your guests. It does not go... More

My husband and I enjoyed the 10-course chef's tasting menu at the Lafayette Inn. It was an incredible and memorable evening. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the hosts were charming, friendly, and the wine and food explanations by the chef interesting and helpful. The wine pairings were sometimes surprising, and always enjoyable. We had a lovely, comfortable room... More

We had Sunday brunch at the Inn and although the weather outside was a bit nasty, the dining room was attractive and warm (although after about an hour, we ladies were chilly). My husband and I had the omelette of the day (peppers, onions, and cheese) and thought it was good, but not inspired. Our companions had the traditional Eggs... More

Definitely an incredible meal is what you're in store for at the Lafayette Inn's restaurant! From the moment we were greeted and sat and throughout the entire dining experience, we enjoyed incredible service. The young lady who was serving us was handling all of the tables, they were slightly more than half full and she didn't miss a beat! She... More

What a treat this was!!! The charming venue was beautiful, the service was fantastic. My husband and I were lucky enough to get the table directly next to the fireplace and the ambiance was so wonderful. The food started off with corn fritters we ordered and they were amazing! I order shrimp and grits. The shrimp was cooked to perfection... More
