We enjoyed an early supper of crab stuffed rainbow trout and crab sampler. The trout was beautifully cooked and the crab sampler offered four distinct preparations and each had their charm. The chef is not shy about the proper role and use of fats to impart rich flavor and the crab was excellent. Portions may look small but the depth... More

I ordered fresh whole Maine Lobster, but the lobster tasted old, tough and not fresh. The server forgot to bring the melted butter, and after waiting 10 minutes, I got up and told the manager. Mojito, (made with vodka?) was $10. The menu prices were much higher than any other nicer restaurants in the area? I will never go back... More

We held a birthday party for my mother at the Log Cabin. It is one of her favorite places. The crab dishes are always a special treat. Our party ordered off all parts of the menu. Steaks were all perfectly done and delicious. Seafood was simply spectacular. Staff helped immensely in getting the cake and decorations set up. Wait staff... More

The Log Cabin is a bit expensive, but worth a splurge for a special occasion. Has a good variety of seafood and steak. Great place to visit on a cold evening and dine by their fireplace. Good lump crab cakes!

The simple and rustic exterior hides the charming atmosphere on the inside. They specialize in seafood, but they have great steaks too. Steamed Maine lobster is one of their specialties. I usually enjoy a 2 - 3 lb'er. The service is fantastic. It's on the high end price-wise for Stafford, but we'll worth it for the quality of the food,... More

It's been a while since I've been here, but the last time we went was as good as the first. One wouldn't imagine the rustic log exterior hides a lovely seafood restaurant. The interior is quaint with a nice fireplace. The food (the last time we went) ; do try the white crab soup...so yummy! For the price it will... More

The Log Cabin is expensive, but the food is usually very good. It is primarily a seafood restaurant, but there are a few other options. A limited menu that is done very well. Cozy, it is a great restaurants for couples. Sit by the fire and enjoy the quaint ambiance. We've also taken the whole family, but it feels more... More

As always the food was delicious. On Valentine's Day they add additional tables to handle the crowds and it takes away from the cozy atmosphere. Reservations are a necessity.

We made reservations for our Anniversary and looked forward to the date with much enthusiasm. We had already heard about the high prices so that didn't surprise us too much but the quality of the meal did not live up to the price. My husband had the Captains platter, mostly over fried and below average. I ordered the famous prime... More
