No need to drive to Alexandria or DC for a birthday lobster treat when steamed live lobster is available so close to home! The prime rib was plenty for two to share, or take home ample leftovers. The salad bar lettuce mixture was fresh and crisp, the dressings creamy, the bread crusty. And then there were the desserts--complimentary chocolate crime... More

The quality of the food has gone down in the number of years I have eaten at the Log Cabin. Be it the economy or the kitchen as the base culprit is subject to discussion. Service was good however a little slow. Ambiance is ok considering that you are right next to a 4 lane highway.

My aunt was in for the weekend from Dallas TX and wanted seafood. We were freezing with the sudden change in weather. The restaurant was warm and cozy with the fireplace going. We had a great meal and the lobster tails on the broiled seafood platter were quite large! Don't miss the broccoli casserole side dish.

The food is awesome Always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. Warm décor and staff. The only thing I think they should improve would be the salad bar, or just offer a small dinner salad.

We enjoyed an early supper of crab stuffed rainbow trout and crab sampler. The trout was beautifully cooked and the crab sampler offered four distinct preparations and each had their charm. The chef is not shy about the proper role and use of fats to impart rich flavor and the crab was excellent. Portions may look small but the depth... More

I ordered fresh whole Maine Lobster, but the lobster tasted old, tough and not fresh. The server forgot to bring the melted butter, and after waiting 10 minutes, I got up and told the manager. Mojito, (made with vodka?) was $10. The menu prices were much higher than any other nicer restaurants in the area? I will never go back... More

We held a birthday party for my mother at the Log Cabin. It is one of her favorite places. The crab dishes are always a special treat. Our party ordered off all parts of the menu. Steaks were all perfectly done and delicious. Seafood was simply spectacular. Staff helped immensely in getting the cake and decorations set up. Wait staff... More

The Log Cabin is a bit expensive, but worth a splurge for a special occasion. Has a good variety of seafood and steak. Great place to visit on a cold evening and dine by their fireplace. Good lump crab cakes!

The simple and rustic exterior hides the charming atmosphere on the inside. They specialize in seafood, but they have great steaks too. Steamed Maine lobster is one of their specialties. I usually enjoy a 2 - 3 lb'er. The service is fantastic. It's on the high end price-wise for Stafford, but we'll worth it for the quality of the food,... More
