We met in Germany so thought it would be fun to enjoy a good time German meal. The ambiance and friendliness of the entire staff was spot on!

My wife and were in the mood for a little German cuisine since it's that Oktoberfest time of year. We've been to the original Oktoberfest in Germany and enjoyed the atmosphere, beer, and cuisine. Although there is no way to create an Oktoberfest atmosphere at the restaurant, the food and beer was pretty comparable. My wife had the lamb shank... More

We always enjoy Zum Rhinegarten. My wife and I ordered the potato pancakes as a starter; they are better than any except homemade! I'd prefer that the potatoes were grated rather than riced, but the generous portions were light and crisp. My wife had the jagerschnitzel, a fried pork cutlet, with bread dumplings and red cabbage. I had the weinerschnitzel... More

I am not German. I have never been to Germany. I have no idea what good German food is supposed to taste like. But I do know when I like something. And I like this! I had the sauerbraten with mashed potatoes and cabbage. It was very filling. I had the pretzel appetizer, but didn't have room for dessert. But... More

We have just returned from Germany and Austria and had hoped to have some pork knuckles or something other then the usual German dishes. The food just wasn't very exciting. Good choice of beers and desserts. Good service.

My wife and I ate here the other week, and we really enjoyed it. The food was very good. We don't know a lot about German food, but we thought it was excellent. I would NOT take kids here unless they love German food and behave like the von Trapps.

We've been going there for about two years and the food is always good. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Kevin the Manager is wonderful. He's always friendly and tries to ensure your dining experience there is a good one. He's working hard to make sure the food is authentic German food. We so glad he came back m.... More

Husband chose this place for a special occasion. We've been several times in the past and I always enjoyed the ambiance. It's a cute little out-of-the way place with a good selection of German beer. Our server was so very polite and helpful. It seems this time around the food didn't taste as authentic as before. We've been to Germany... More

Been coming here since 2004 and it constantly amazes us the quality of its food and old charm ambience. If you want game food, this is the place to have it. The chef knows how to prepare it. The reason we love this place is because of its authentic German food. Reminds us so much of our Bavarian life of... More
