Very good food. I particularly like the duck rolls, an appetizer that rivals Peking Duck, and the Steak Thai Ghang Waan. They are excellent dishes that are among the best I've ever eaten.

this is my go to Thai Restaurant in Northern VA. The service is excellent, the food is excellent. What else can you ask for? I take my family here once a week. We eat out in restaurants once a week. Hmmm, which one is my favorite? They have a Thai menu, great options. Give it a try!

5 of us were touring Mt. Vernon in the rain. It was chilly, we were tired and hungry. A quick trip on social media sites steered us to Thai Ghang Waan. The overall view of 4.5 stars with so many contributors sealed the deal. Those reviewers were right on all counts. We had 5 dishes and an appetizer of Chicken... More

Thai Ghang Waan is the real deal. Be sure to ask about the Thai menu as well as the regular menu.I strongly recommend all of the fried rice dishes, the iced ginger tea, The panang curry, and all of the noodle dishes. I've had everything on the menu and I've never had a bad meal.

We've been looking for a Thai Restaurant as good as our favorite, that closed down years ago. This one comes the closest. From our first bite, we were in love with it. We had the Satay w/Peanut Sauce was juicy, warm and full of flavor and the Peanut Sauce had just the right amount of spice to it. We also... More

I have gone to this Restauant on a weekly basis since they opened. The owner is very friendly, the staff is great and the food is delicious. They have both a standard menu and a "Thai" menu that until recently was not translated. I order from both menus. My favorites are Tom Woon Sen, Ghoon Gluer and Kha Prow with... More

Selection: They have all of the greatest hits, plus some originals and more authentic dishes. Quality: Fantastic! Some of the best curries and pad thais I've ever had! Atmosphere: Average Thai restaurant experience. Family friendly. Service: Good. Value: Also happens to be some of the cheapest Thai food in all of Springfield. Location: If you're by the Mixing Bowl, very... More

Authentic, non-americanized Thai cuisine. Simply delicious. Shame I don't live in Virginia. But will be back tonight after a great meal.

We love Thai food. I mean, we LOVE Thai food. So in our eyes, any Thai is good Thai. But good Thai is AWESOME. This little gem is located off the beaten path, tucked among a strange mix of Asian storefronts and pawn shops and a dance club. We chose this place when the weather turned too cold for us... More

I've been here twice and unfortunately the second impression was less spectacular than the first time. This place is a bit out of the way for us so it's not good enough for us to go to all the effort of getting on the beltway. It's a decent enough Thai restaurant if you live / work close by.
