I have been eating at Ernies for years and stopped last Sunday. It is about $10.00 each. I love the stewed tomatoes, that with real mashed potatoes is all I need. black eye peas. They also had hot fried fish and shrimp, both very good and refilled while I was there, BBQ, Baked Chicken, Beef Stew, and Lasana, all of... More

We stopped there on way home from Richmond to Greensboro. Had heard good things. It was a Saturaday night and they had a seafood buffet which we had. It was all frozen, tasteless, and awful! Salad was fresh! Vegetables were greasy and obviously canned. Will never return- the worst food ever!!

Country cooking in a buffet style. Food is OK, but not special. No real service since it's a buffet. Easy access on US 360 in South Boston.

Ernie's offers authentic southern cooking in a generously stocked buffet with friendly service and warm atmosphere. If you're southern and you're looking for food the way your grandmother fixed it, this is your place. If you're not southern, this is your chance to see what all the fuss is about. The food is delicous, traditional, and authentic. Granted, it's not... More

This was our second visit to Ernie's. The first time was seafood night and it was very good. This time was the southern foods and it was just OK for me. The ribs were tough, the beef and onions had very little beef. My biggest problem with this visit was our server. She wasn't very friendly, barely spoke and drink... More

We were pleasantly surprised about the outstanding food at Ernie's. I was traveling with coworkers and decided to drop into this restaurant sitting right on the highway. The food was fantastic and our server, Crystal, was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I had the chicken salad club, one coworker had the buffet, and another coworker had the chicken... Ok, if you want Fine Dining, this ain't it...but if you are starving and want good quality food in abundance on a buffet with good service then you hit the jackpot. A very large place, very decent setting with a picturesque back room view. Buffet has all the Southern Standards...fried chicken, meatloaf, beef stew, baked fish, ribs, chicken pot pie...a... More

The food at Ernie's is about as good as you can expect from a hot line in a buffet. The best reason to go is for the experience. Restaurants like Ernie's are a dying breed, if you have children or grandchildren, this is the place to head. Ernie's is to Cracker Barrel, what Paris is to Disney's Epcot. It's possible... More
