My husband and I travel a little distance just to eat lunch at this cafe. We definitely feel as if we've stepped into small town USA when we visit. It's a small quaint cafe which also has outdoor seating. We sit by a large picture window where we watch the people stroll by going in and out of the various... More

My husband and I had breakfast here for our anniversary and I brought my mother in law to celebrate mother's day belatedly. Great food. Unique choices. Lovely atmosphere and town. Fantastic all around experience.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch this past week, and I was not impressed. The street the restaurant is on is lovely, but the set up inside was sort of odd. I won't blame them for that due to it being an old building. However, my sandwich was slopped together and drowning in sauce. The cakes looked good,... More

We meet at the Bakery and enjoy the friendly staff and the great food that they serve and the specials they create for all their meals .Downtown Smithfield is a great little town to wander around after breakfast and the bake goods are always good.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch in Smithfield today. We both had the chicken salad sandwich with mine on basil tomato bread and hers on honey almond. The bread alone is worth the visit the daily specials are awsome. Today they had a ribeye and gouda samdwich. Smithfield is a quaint town and worth the visit.

Just had one thing, twice: the Royal Cookie. Chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, coconut, that's all. Thick, chewy, tender... an outstanding cookie. This is a must stop place if you're in Smithfield. Right across Main Street from Taste of Springfield.
