Big biscuits, delicious Belgium waffles.. plenty of coffee. The service provided was excellent. The restaurant was not too far from I-81.

While enroute via I-81 & seeking a local restaurant vs. the "national chains", Famous Anthony's rated a "5" serving an opened, large biscuit covered with gravy, pork loin & eggs just right along with plentiful coffee refills. True this may not be the most healthy cholesterol free breakfast, it was a welcome retreat from the usual cardboard sold elsewhere! Easy... More

Food is good and prices are fair. The servings are stingy, though. I swear, I believe they even count how many stings beans and french fries to serve.

We try to stop at Anthony's whenever we travel the I-81 in VA. Good, comfort food at reasonable prices. Usually fairly busy with local regulars as well as travelers. Big portions. Order almost anything you would get at a national chain, but feel the local flavor.

Went there for breakfast. It has a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly. The food wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad either. Also, I wasn't done eating yet when the waitress brought the bill, which made me feel a bit like we were supposed to rush out. Other than that it wasn't too bad.

Probably the best breakfast place in Salem. That being said, most of it is pretty average breakfast food, but still delicious! Lunch is good too - their mozzarella sticks are to die for and are the best I've ever had. Everything is very low cost and generally pretty good, but don't expect too much out of it.

We've always had great service. The food is priced fairly. The food isn't GREAT, but not bad either. I do like that there is plenty of seating even when it's busy.

This is a local "chain" of restaurants. Best for breakfast. Make a very good sausage omelet and have a bunch of daily specials for a fixed price. Nice spot to take a bunch of kids on Sunday night as kids are free. Lunch and dinner are low cost, high quality but nothing fancy. Always good service.

At dinner there because the menu looked family friendly. We had the fish and chips which was very good. And a burger which was less than appealing. Very dried up. Asked for no tomato and no onion, both of which were served anyway. The cottage cheese tasted like the refrigerator. Wouldn't go back for dinner.
