I have been gluten free going on almost 10 years! When traveling I always love to find places that offer gluten free pizzas. I have had my fare share over the years and Pizza Pasta Pit's pizza is hands down the best gluten free pizza I have ever had! No soggy crust here. Crispy and perfection! If you aren't in... More

Very self righteous owners, specifically the woman. Love love love their food and used to go in there when I worked right down the straight. Barely ever got a smile from her and received many eye rolls for things like asking if I could purchase a drink. Well, she had already printed off my receipt so me adding a drink... More

Food is done well, typical sit down mid range Italian food. That's really not the issue here. Have heard the male owner/manager go berserk on a female waitress at least once, and the female owner/manager is completely devoid of any personality or appreciation for someone coming into this establishment and spending their hard earned money. Myself along with friends have... More

So thrilled to find gluten free pizza and owners that care about food safety. It is rare to find a restaurant that goes to great lengths to ensure that diners are getting what they pay for, the owners of this restaurant came to my table to talk to me about the gluten free pizza and explain how it was made.... Actually, I am not sure that anyone else in Roanoke Valley cooks their pizzas like Pizza Pasta Pit. Calzones are huge - enough for another meal. They use fresh mozzarella. Serveres are attentive but not overwhelming.

Enjoyed a local brew and good pizza. Don't be put off by the outside, and definitely try the porch - even in February.

The pizza was pretty good, and I loved the lunch special of 5 bucks for a 10" pizza. The steak sandwich we got was very good. Now it needs to be easier to get to..

After watching a movie, we decided to eat Italian and stopped at this establishment. By the number of vehicles in the parking lot, we assumed the food was decent. My wife ordered Linguini Primavera and I ordered Linguini Seafood Special. Both entrees were terrible. My wife's entree looked like soup with linguini and hard carrots of which she could not... More

It is a nice simple place to go for a pizza that is close to home. I much prefer it to the other chains and Humble Pie(nearby pizza place). Also prefer to support local owned places like this one. The owner is kind and always give my daughter a bread stick while we wait, which is very kind. We usually... More

Sitting in the plastic covered tent we were told they were out of most beer, were told to take our time and then hurried out and the food besides the garlic cheese bread was on par with a frozen pizza. A dissapointment.
