I visited for lunch and ordered the small trout plate. The trout was delicious but the small portion was tiny. $14 for a small lunch portion that leaves you hungry did not make me happy. Fortunately that had delicious $4 desserts that did the trick. The peach upside down cake is wonderful. I would like to visit again for dinner.

If I could give them a rating of 6 or higher, I would. My hubby and I had a spur of moment Thur night meal last week. Not only did they accommodate us w a very nice table, but the food, service, specials, wine selections were once again over the top. It's the area's best!

We dined at the Blue Apron this evening because of Tripadvisors #1 ranking. We were not disappointed. Service was good and the food wonderful. We both ordered the "small plate" portion and found the quantity of food to be more than adequate. My Manhattan was super and the Reisling wine superb. We spoke with the manager before leaving and found... More

Extremely enjoyable visit to the Blue Apron. The food was excellent as was the service. They offer 2 sizes of their entrees, allowing you to select multiple items similar to tapas, or a larger size to make a meal unto itself. Among the 5 of us, the only entree anyone was slightly disappointed in was the rib-eye. Chilled mango soup... More

The food is good and different. Service is great and friendly. The only down side is it loud when there are a lot of people and it's had to carry on a conversation and hear others in your party.

Loved everything about this little gem of a restaurant. Beautifully restored, great service and unique foods. Loved the green garden salad, scallops and seafood bouillabaisse special. Not cheap but every dish was perfectly prepared and presented.

If you want maitre d's and tablecloths, there are several fine options in the Roanoke Valley. But for consistently outstanding food at reasonable prices, the Blue Apron shines. The entrees are creative, always excellent, and best of all, you can get them in lunch or dinner sizes (and prices) at dinner. It is our family's "go to" dinner choice, and... More

Our third day in Salem was highlighted by a visit to the Blue Apron Restaurant. We were very pleased with the food, the service and the ambiance. One minor hiccup, however. I ordered the swordfish and asked that the roasted garlic aioli be omitted, as straight up garlic gives me a stomach ache. My dish came with the garlic, which... More

Based on Trip Advisor reviews made a reservation and was pleasantly surprised. Above average wine list and excellent dinner. Many of the items on the menu are available in smaller portions.

The restaurant is in a lovingly restored building, with exposed brick walls, beautiful woodwork, and very comfortable seating. We were spending the night on our way back north and stopped in based on other trip advisor reviews. Food was very good, service excellent and all staff very friendly and helpful. The dinner menu listed most items in a small, shareable... More
