Sometimes I feel like a curmudgeon...nothing is good enough. Restaurants are only average. But today we went to Table Fifty for lunch. I ordered their version of a Philly cheese steak and found it to be the best cheese steak that I've had since Philly. The beef was fresh and moist, the cheese and spices just right. Complemented with their... More

Enjoyed everything about Table Fifty. Great food and great service. Been twice on date nights and just as good both times. Definitely would recommend it.

Table Fifty is located on the city market in downtown Roanoke, VA. It is a cozy restaurant, but has no natural light, so the atmosphere is rather dark. The food, at least during lunch is sandwiches, mostly. The prices are within reason, we spent $34 there. My hubby got a salmon sandwich and I got a turkey sandwich on the... More

I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon at 1:00pm. I ordered the Table 50 Grilled cheese, and added a cup of minestrone soup. The menu says: "All sandwiches served with house made potato chips - Add Soup for $2.00", and the sandwish is described as "Table 50 Grilled Cheese – Havarti, Cheddar, Gruyere, Bacon and Tomato on Wheat". But... More

This restaurant doesn't look as good as it tastes. The food was amazing, I had the duck entree which was the best I've ever had and my husband had the steak which was beautifully cooked and also delicious - we would definitely return.

The food was very good but the place is small and the dining area is close to the bar. Very noisy. With $25-$35 entrees I prefer a quiet, peaceful ambiance. This is more like a sports bar. My wife and I couldn't even have a conversation.

Visited Table 50 during a mother-daughter trip to Roanoke in April. We were absolutely blown away. We had been craving seafood, so my mom ordered the crab-cakes, and I the salmon. Both were spectacular. Our appetizer of sea scallops was to die for. Cooked perfectly and anything but boring. This meal was a little on the pricey side, but absolutely... More

Just had dinner at Table 50 with my wife and had one of the best meals in downtown Roanoke. Scallops were unbelievable, BBQ shrimp were quite tasty, loved the crab bisque. Bottles of wine are very reasonable. Staff was excellent, Jordan is the best! We will be going back!

Got there and they had no ice tea prepared. I ordered one crab cake but received two and was charged for two even after I told the waitress that I only ordered one. Food was just okay. I guess I expected better service and taste due to the expectations I had of this being about equal to Frankie's but it... More
