My wife and I have eaten at some of the finest restaurants the world over . . . Paris, Barcelona, Munich, New York, San Francisco. This little place in Grandin Village, Roanoke, Virginia . . . is fine indeed. World Class cuisine, great wine selection, nice décor, every table a good one, good service . . . what more could... We stopped for a light dinner. The menu had many interesting items. We decided on the Low-country Crab Cakes and the cheese platter. Both were prepared well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The deco was in keeping with other shops in the Grandin Village. We will stop here again

We stopped at this place on a whim last evening for dinner and were impressed with the entire package. It was "Soul Food" night (Thursday) and we had blackened catfish, black eyed peas, corn bread and succotash. The service, with only two servers who also staffed the bar, was excellent and attentive. We loved the quaint neighborhood atmosphere in the... More

This restaurant is located in the Grandin Village shopping area of Roanoke City, an old established neighborhood with lots of small shops, restaurants, a fresh market and a nice theater. It is very safe and a nice area to stroll through. The restaurant is about 1/2 way on the Grandin Road shopping area. It is nicely decorated and has a... More

We had dinner this past weekend with 2 friends from Wash. DC. Service was good and food was good, not great, only good. I enjoyed a daily "special" soft shell crab entree, which was prepared well and presentation was excellent. I found the menu somewhat limited, but it seemed our guests were pleased. Prices were about average for this area.... More

A nice, reliable place with good service and good food, but nothing to set it apart., It is easy to get to and street parking is readily available. There are several somewhat similar restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

I picked this place after hearing some rave reviews from some coworkers. We didn't have a reservation, but decided to go early enough to ensure seating. The hostess was surprised we didn't have a reservation and hesitated to seat us at first. Mind you, there was only one other person in the restaurant when we arrived. Magically, they found a... More

By ok, I mean "just ok". The food was good but nothing above. My family of five all ordered different items. No one had a bad meal but no one walked away raving about it either. Upon entering the person at the door asked if we had a reservation and, even though the restaurant was nearly empty, gave us a... More

Food was good, not great. I later noticed a $30 charge on my receipt called 'Dept 2.' I called and asked them about it and was told it was a cover charge for the band. There was no indication of a cover charge when I made the reservation. I was told that it was posted outside the restaurant, but I... More

Try some appetizers, Mussels in garlic and wine sauce awesome, calamari great too...then a main course to compliment. They often have a fresh fish option that is well prepared, not overcooked.Ask for help from the owners for a wine selection to compliment your meal, they know their stuff.
