good quick lunch

Ate too many chips as is the curse of a good Mexican meal. They offered several kinds of salsa and had to try them all. Drinks arrived quickly, menu was huge a took a few minutes to decide an order. My group of 6 ordered items from all across the board, they were all hot and fantastic. Only... read more

Overall, nice dinner. The food was a little cool though, instead of hot. I ordered tacos and my business associate ordered something like enchiladas. The food had a great taste though, even if not hot. The salsa is always fresh and mixing all 3 is really good! The server was a little MIA for quite a while and forgot to... More

Hubby loved it, but I thought it was so so. The salsa's are VERY good though. Very big portions, so go hungry!

Usually chain Mexican restaurants leave a lot to be desired, from oddly seasoned dishes to small portions to not very good values, but this place is an exception. Maybe it was because it was a dreary winter night, but I was seated promptly upon my arrival at around 7 pm. The atmosphere is upscale and it doesn't look like a... More

I've been to Abuelos a few times and each time I go, I am given disappointments. The first time I went the red haired waitress was terribly unfriendly and I saw her from across the dining room, sticking her finger in her nose. She kept rolling her eyes every time I asked for anything. The second time I went, I... More

I normally stay far away from chain restaurants but Abuelo's is my exception. I have been to 3 locations in different parts of the country and love them all so far. Atmosphere is great, bar area is comfortable, service is friendly and efficient. Above all the food is consistently good.

Although we can't figure out why they always sit us along the back wall, we keep coming back.. Good food reliable chain. Artsy Mexican food. Love the salsas. Always enough to take extra home. Guacamole is good too.

The food and service here were alright - our waitress was friendly and helpful, and the food arrived within 20 minutes and tasted, well, fine. It wasn't the best or the worst Mexican food we've ever had - it was tasty enough, but not memorable. The atmosphere was OK too. It's very much the kind of atmosphere you could expect... More

Friendly Wait Staff. Greeted as soon as we stepped in the door. Manager Checked on us two or three times during dinner. Food was perfectly cooked and prepared quickly and efficiently. Taste was even better than I had imagined. Great Atmosphere, whether eating in the Main Restaurant or in the Bar Area. Also has a patio dining area when weather... More
