You have to watch closely when you are in the Crystal Springs area of Roanoke. This restaurant sets back in a little walk through alley beside a cupcake store. It is not fancy and my wife and myself set in a little sealed in terrace. The food was very delicious. I tried their chili as an appetizer and found out... More

The food here is great, and they are adding more vegetarian items. We did find that the collard greens contained chunks of ham - which makes them no longer vegetarian. It's a personal preference I'm sure, but when I order vegetables, I generally like to get vegetables, not side meat also. More

Relaxed, friendly, pretty good food and prices are great. Can be hard for a newcomer to find but it is a good idea gone great. More

This cozy atmosphere with live music sometimes is a treat. The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable. More

Was looking for a different unique place for take-out pizza and we found it. Loved the different toppings that were available. It was much better than Pizza Hut and all the other chains. We will definitely eat here again! More

FintA is a regular for our family when visiting Roanoke. This location is tucked away and so there is a definite locals-only sense to the place (Note: there is a larger Fork in the City location). The small menu pretty much covers everything you'd want from a pub - great burgers & sandwiches, pizzas, and a healthy smattering of other... More

While people from large cities may feel there's not much originality to FIA, for Roanoke, it's a welcome change to the bland and boring typical restaurants in the area. The inside eating area is small and most tables are outside on the patio (which is enclosed and heated during the colder months). While the service isn't over the top, the... More

Decent food. Decent service. And decent prices. FITA offers a unique atmosphere tucked away in a semi-secluded area near a narrow alley. Seating options cater to whatever your dining whim might be at the time; whether it be an outdoor patio setting (even when rain is threatening) or indoors at a cozy nook. The only downside for FITA is that... More

My wife and I frequented Fork in the Alley last night for dinner. The only reason we tried it is because of the glowing reviews on this site. I will preface my writing by stating that yes, I enjoyed my food and yes I would try them again - but the hype is truly not merited. First, our waitress was... More
