The restaurant's atmosphere is great and the wait staff are friendly. I've gone to this restaurant for lunch about 5 times over a period of time, each time with the hope it will improve. Every time I am disappointed. I got the pork slider sandwiches and sweet potato fries on my last visit. Well, they didn't tell me until the... More

Took my family here for lunch to celebrate my son's graduation from Roanoke Valley Fire Academy. It was highly touted by several people to me so I decided to give it a try. Our group of 6 was seated immediately and offered drinks. Our orders came in a timely manner and every order was very good. Catfish poboys, meat loaf,... More

We have dined frequently at The Quarter and it is one of our favorites in Roanoke. We recently went while my in-laws were visiting. We were able to get a table easily on a Thursday night (it was raining). The service was good and we all enjoyed dinner. I think the best choices are jambalaya and shrimp and grits. I... More

We had the jambalaya and shrimp penne. Both entrees were delicious. The service was quick and the staff friendly. This is a bar setting and we had our son with us. So, for family dining, I would recommend going before 8pm.

Had dinner here with friends while visiting Roanoke for the weekend. Patio was full so we were seated inside at a booth. It was somewhat noisy (bar area and t.vs nearby) but not annoying. We ordered menu items with several modifications as we try to eat healthy. Our server was efficient, knowledgeable, and willing to work with all of our... More

Got to love a place with the sign that says, "Restaurant" with a green neon 'gator at the bottom...so we walked in. We ate on the patio, so we were making our own atmosphere. The food was excellent. The crawfish ettofette (sp) was flavorful without relying on hot sauce to burn your taste buds off--in other words tasty. Red bean... More

We took mom down to The Quarter for an early dinner before the massive Mother’s Day dinner crowd, our drink order was on point and the Bloody Mary was the best I have ever had. There food was very well seasoned and tasted fresh and flavorful. Mother ordered the fried oysters and raved about how fresh and perfectly cooked they... More

The quarter is located downtown and it is decorated to look and feel like a place out of the French Quarter. It does this ,The service is very, very good. here's the bad they don't make fresh decafe coffe. When our coffe was served I was surprised to see it was instant coffe. I got a prime rib which was cooked perfectly... More

I'm not from NO so I can't speak to how "authentic" the Cajun food is, but my son-in-law lived there and he brought me here because he loves their food. I did too. By the way, thanks for the dinner John and Steph, it was terriffic. Service was quick and very friendly. The gumbo, jambaylaya, creope shrimp dip appetiser, raw oysters,... More

This is a great restaurant with easy access downtown. We have never been disappointed with food or service. Most recently we waited 25 minutes when we arrived, which was not very long considering it was a Saturday night at 7:30, only concern was there were open tables in view the entire time we were waiting. Our server greeted us immediately... More
