This is the best Indian food! From the lunch buffet, to the authentic naan bread, this is the real deal. Friendly servers, festive atmosphere, this place is #1 on the list anytime I'm in Roanoke.

I've been dining at Nawab for years and have never had a negative word about the place. The service is kind and quick. I usually dine there during their buffet hour because they always carry my favorites right out on the table like the chicken tikki masala and more. The one major thing that always has me going back is... More

I have eaten a lot of great Indian food in the Midwest and Nawaba was just as good and better than some. The buffet had less items than I am used to at Indian buffets but the choices were good. The Korma on the menu is great

A friend had recommended Nawab to me, and I'm grateful that she did. I've had good, bad and indifferent Indian good all around the country, and this is one of the two best I've dined at ... and the other, alas, is now defunct. It's an elegant room, the wait staff is prompt, extremely courteous and the quite helpful. Being... More

We have been to Nawab on several occasions. Only once was my entree not great. Just came back from there tonight - dinner was not fabulous, but it was very good. Service is always pleasant and the atmosphere is lovely. I would definitely recommend Nawab.

My wife and I had the lunch buffet today (Sunday). The lentil dish was tasty as was the Southern Indian chicken dish. The chicken biriyani was okay, but had little flavor - it needed some coriander or cardamom. The chai tea was pretty good - the temperature was perfect. However, it too was bland. It needed more ginger and cardamom.... More

the food is not tasty, bland,no varieties.people dont trust these reviews,i think it may be good for the americans who like bland food but indians wont like it. Taaza is 100 times better than this. parking too is a headache.

This is a comfortable, authentic Indian restaurant. So much to choose from and each dish is complex and flavorful. They have a curry with mango that is so fresh and yet a bit spicy. Really nice combo.

Ilived in india for a while and Nawab is reasonably authentic, though moderated for American palates. It's no possible to get "Indian hot" food in the USA outside of private homes. The dishes served are fairly standard in all indian places, and mostly familiar to Americans as a result.

Had a great dining experience at Nawab. The menu offered extensive choices and the server was helpful with recommendations that suited exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely go back when I travel to Roanoke again this fall!!
