While in the Roanoke area my wife and I stopped by Parkers for dinner. We had read mostly bad/average things about them on TripAdvisor but in our opinion they weren't that bad. She had the crab cakes and I had the large order of fried sea scallops, 16 of them. She said the crab cakes were not that bad but... More

This place is really cool looking because it is modeled after a lighthouse and there was prompt service with a smile. However, the food was awful! I had a fried Tilapia and my fiance had a crab dish. Both were underwhelming. My fish tasted frozen and my fiance's crab tasted like it was dumped from a can.I was excited to... More

It was not very busy on a Saturday night which can make you nervous but the food was good and the service was very good....not huge portions which makes sense !

I highly recommend Parker's. Salem and Roanoke are very blessed to have seafood of this quality available in their backyard.

Wow.....how disappointing. Our family ate there last night. The restaurant looked clean, and we had a nice table, and our server was very nice and helpful. However, when our food came, things rapidly changed. There is nothing fresh about this food. The baked potato tasted like it had been cooked the day before and heated up. They served the worst... We got to the restraunt and it was fairly slow during what I would call dinner rush. We got seated right away and the waitress was nice and friendly but that was about it. I got a seafood platter and it was gross. Trust me I will eat ANYTHING and I couldn't even choke it down. It was bland, a... More

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere. First time going there was a pleasure. Radio playing aloud softly was surprisingly and pleasantly tuned to Spirit FM Christian station. Wasn't sure how to choose the portion sizes to order. I chose a small portion of popcorn shrimp. It was just enough to eat, but would probably order the medium size next time which is... More

We were on a motorcycle trip, this was day two. After riding several hundred miles we needed to fuel the GoldWing and our bodies. The waitress was so bubbly, her enthusiasm was infectious. While the hushpuppies were not the sweet cornbread I was hoping for, they were very good, with only a hint of onion. The rest of our food... More
