Good food, fun place

This place is not fancy, but its extensive menu had something to appeal to everyone in our group. Service was food. Pizza was fantastic. We enjoyed several games of pool after dinner, and just had a very good time overall.

Went to the rooftop for dinner on Saturday night and they were overwhelmed. The beer taps were not working so the wait staff had to run up and down the stairs and they seemed short of servers. We saw two tables leave while waiting for their drinks. We ordered a Corned Beef sandwich, which was OK, but the Caesar Salad... More

Small roof top area for eating and drinking. Pizza's are good and drinks are reasonable priced. Great service both times that we visited.

Let me start off by saying the food isn't bad. Perfectly good enough lunch spot. However, this place is the meat market in town on the weekends. It does have different level bars and an outside area on the roof that can be enjoyable. This place was the "Tinder" spot before Tinder existed in Roanoke. Enjoy...

This place is massive. The roof top had a great 2 piece band that were a lot of fun. The manager decided to call last call though at 11:00pm. That was unfortunate as the band was still playing and people were having a great time. I guess he had someplace better to be.

Visited on April 17th great atmosphere, but service was a slow almost non existent. I had a pasta dish that was okay to average but lacked seasonings to make it anywhere near memorable. Might visit again for a beer or try one of the sandwiches on the extensive sandwich menu.

Food is freshly prepared, lot's of it and the beer is cold. Plenty of room, service was awesome. I highly recommend you go downtown and find this place. it is unique and has a brick fire oven. Try the apple pie (hint hint). Prices seem a bit high but with the amount of food an it's taste it is well worth... More

Our waitress Emily was super nice. The pizza is delicious. Skip pepperoni it makes the pizza too greasy. Try cheese with basil or the buffalo chicken. Salads are fresh and huge. Skip the legendary fries they aren't legendary. The pretzels are though! Yum. We got a big table on a Friday night with no wait. Go early as it turns... More

We eat here every time we come to Flanked. As usual the food is good, with generous servings and good service. But,it needs some serious cleaning and repair work. Holes in the walls had been patched but not painted, large white spotches of sheet rock mud on the walls are ugly and make it look rundown. We were there March 31 and there was... More

Just plain fun ... Good value, simple and perfect even if you are not Irish. Situated near others, some with white table clothes and one with an uproar. This is a good part of downtown Roanoke.
