If traveling through Roanoke, this is a must try for breakfast! Great Atmosphere with roanoke memorabilia all around. Every thing was hot and fresh. biscuits and gravy were amazing. Great prices. I've never had lunch or dinner there, but breakfast is awesome

I went for the renowned biscuits and gravy. Very good, although truthfully I'm not a connoisseur of that type of food. Good coffee with free refills.

This place was recommended by locals and we read good reviews but when we went it was terrible!! We went for lunch one day. The food was boring, bland, and in my case overcooked. My pasta dish was just cooked noodles with melted cheese and overcooked vegetables. My fiance got a club sandwich and fries and was not impressed. The... More

I recommend any meal - you can't go wrong! Large selection. Home cooked veggies & meats; Good service. For the ladies or if the gents are interested in a Valentine gift for their lady - they have a nice selection of costume jewelry and scarves that is quite reasonably priced and a nice selection of gifty items particularly with a... I usually only review places that I've had a good experience with but this is not one of them. I have lived in Roanoke for 19 years now and have never eaten at The Roanoker Restaurant. I know this place has high ratings so we finally decided to try it. We went there at lunch time but both decided to... More

As a breakfast stop before heading out of Roanoke this must be #1. When we pulled in the line was nearly out the door but the wait to be seated was only a few minutes and the breakfast was worth the wait. Very friendly staff.

The Roanoker Restaurant This restaurant's mission is "To welcome guests to our comfortable home for consistently good food at reasonable prices." After dining there, I gave them an A+ for accomplishing what they set out to do - because the food was delicious, served hot, plentiful, and at a reasonable price - including friendly service. This restaurant has an interesting... More

The best! We all had something different and it was all superb. The ham and biscuits were wonderful. A must eat.

This is not the place for fine dining, but if you want a well-prepared meal for a very reasonable price, try The Roanoker. The fried chicken is tops, but really, most entrees are decent. And, you can actually order from a nice variety of vegetables rather than the potato-and-packaged salad routine you get at so many chains. The Roanoker prides... More

The hype of this place for me was over rated. The wait was long and the food was average. This would be a good place if you have children but if you don't you will feel like you do.
