I have been here several times, sometimes for a romantic dinner and sometimes for a party in the back room. I really enjoy the Potato Feta Soup.

During a recent return visit to Montanos we found the service a little slow and definitely mechanical. In the past we have had some terrific servers but this trip not the case. The clam chowder is very good and the Rueben is also tasty. The italian sub was a disappointment. They should mention it is a hot sandwich. Nothing like... More

We loved Montano's! Great food, awesome service, terrific wine list. We went there for dinner on a Friday night and got seated right away, even though it was pretty crowded. Our waiter was right there and had our drink orders within minutes. The food and the service are both to die for. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant offers cuisine from multiple ethnicities. We tried the Italian specials and were thrilled. Chicken Montano topped with spinach and fontina was lovely. The Chicken Tropical was light and hit the spot. Chicken Saltimbocca was another great choice. Desserts included an extremely large cream puff that could have fed 4 and Crème Brulé that one person devoured without sharing.... More

We've been to Montano's a number of times over the years and we can always count on the quality of the food, a wide variety of choices, excellent service and a top notch beer and wine selection. Most recently, I had their fried oysters platter rather than the oyster po-boy I usually get. They were great! In addition to the... More

So convenient coming from Smith Mt Lake into Roanoke on 220, we got there at 11:45 and it was filling up for lunch. We tried the fresh made strawberry lemonade and two specials, a kale salad with two HUGE shrimp for my wife and I did the reuben, always a good bet. Quick friendly service, no vacuum in sight. So... Montano's is a popular eatery in SW Roanoke. The food and service are good but nothing really special. I was disappointed with the Italian Sub. Although the owner is from Philadelphia, this sub, served hot, is nothing like a Philly hoagie.

This our first visit to Montano. We didn't even know we were going to eat there but just walking by, the server working the small outside patio was so pleasant, and the restaurant looked inviting. We made an excellent choice by going inside. All the servers welcomed us and we're so friendly. The meal was fantastic. Some great fish and... More

This was our first time here and we were not disappointed. The waitress was wonderful and the food was incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant when you are in Roanoke, Va. The owner came out and welcomed us and treated us very well. We will come back.
